    um.

    no :p

(also I think Amidala was protesting some military something or other because people on Naboo's moons didn't have electricity or something insipid like that)

    Insipid?

    Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

She was arguing against further military spending due to the suffering of the common people; the money could have been put to better use.

Right, thought so. I can't imagine, therefore, that it's a result of the emergency powers act or whatnot.

It was a basic TCW plot so of course it makes no sense when you try to look at it more than surface level.

If it's the episode I'm thinking of, it's when one of her handmaidens is telling Padme how much the common people love her for being the only one in government who cares for their plight... as she's helping put the ridiculous, elaborate, jewel-encrusted outfit on Padme.

Also if I'm remembering right, that handmaiden also talks about how she lives in poverty, so I guess Padme doesn't pay her handmaidens anything, either.

As much as people harp on "taxation of trade routes" that's an issue that makes far more sense for a galactic government to get involved in as opposed to investigating utility bills on individual planets.

It would be amusing if they said that Palpatine had contributed to this book, or revised it. :emperor:[face_devil][face_shhh]

Really hope we don't get the absurd pin-up ones, especially with the stormettes and/or Leia. I mean for goodness sakes, stormtroopers are supposed to be a symbol of Imperial order (and there are female stormies!) and Leia is a princess and Rebel leader.

I know that in TCW they used pinups on the nose of LAAT/i and stuff but soldiers painting designs is one thing, recruitment is another.

Putting a bounty on a bounty hunter seems weird.

"The trick isn't turning myself in for the bounty, it's figuring out how many times I can turn myself in for the bounty and escape, before they stop paying out"

Also if you're putting out a wanted poster for someone, you should probably have a picture of them instead of a stylized drawing. Some poor Mandalorian with black and orange armor is going to be harassed by tons of bounty hunters. Or they might think the bounty is for a giant letter T in between two grave stones at sunset.

As a side note, the "Fight Wookie Slavery" once looks kind of like a Rorschach test.

    This actually looks pretty cool.

I would like if they could do some Sith War propaganda too, but I doubt there is enough info on it at this point.

I love these kind of source books.

I will definitely get this, it looks awesome.

Same reasons people pick on Chicago Cubs/Toronto Maple Leafs fans. He's rooting for the (not so) lovable losers.

Still, he'll be drowning in fangirls once Disney cast Tom Hiddleston in the Young Sheev movie.
