This is such a great episode. So here's a small review of it.

    • The Droid Interaction was great.
    • I loved Sabine's sarcasm. Especially with Minister Maketh Tua.
    • Having her be a 'level 5' at the Imperial Acadamy was a good cover.
    • Chopper poking Ezra with that claw thing reminded me of kids poking each other with their hands to get the others attention.
    • Garell was beautiful. At least, that glimpse we got when they entered the planet. I hope we can go back there.
    • Using vents to sneak around is apparently the norm.
    • "Well kid, you pulled it off" "Was there ever any doubt?" "Yes" Lol. That was a great set of lines.
    • More Agent Kallus <3
    • Ezra and Zeb arguing over their room and Hera calling Ezra to come and see her. That was such a big brother/little brother and then mom calling one child over moment.
    • Those T7 disruptors and Zeb's reaction was pretty interesting. I'd hate to see what a person looks like after one get's used on them.
    • Hera called Kanan 'love' again. <3 My poor shipper heart.
    • Kallus and Zeb's fight was pretty good. And you know, disturbing at the same time. Especially when it was Kallus who told Zeb he was the one who ordered the T7's to be used to kill his people.
    • Those explosions caused by the tampered with T7's was pretty cool. I doubt any imperial stormtroopers survived that blast.
    • Ezra using the force push to save Zeb's life seemed more reactionary then anything. It was like an Adrenaline rush of the force.
    • So, looks like a level of understanding formed between Ezra and Zeb.
    • Bail Organa! It was nice to see him again.
    • "The simplest gesture of kindness, can fill the galaxy with hope."
    • Kanan's confused reaction to that was good. Maybe Bail with become a provider of funds to the Rebels?
    • Overall it was a good episode. I enjoyed it.
    I'd give this a 9/10.

They're protective of their names up to the near end, however not only does Kanan blurt out Ezra by name right in front of these "imperial droids" he also says his formal Jedi training begins. The droids witnessed a Jedi, they didnt even bother to blank their memories before handing them over to their master who for all they knew couldve been a gangster or Imperial agent. Zeb being defeated by human isnt that realistic as Zeb as strengh of 5-10 men, his blows would break Kallus in two, but his strength and agility declines when he faces his character who appears to fight more expertly with an electro staff than Zeb himself. Just an episode before Kallus isnt any any better with a blaster than the Stormtroopers and only marginally more brighter.

C3P0 ratting them out almost got them killed but the team ignore it and just go flying off to the Tantive IV. Kanan was a Jedi Padawan to a leading Jedi Council member and Bail a popular senator, how didnt their paths cross? Surprised he never saw him in person or on their version of TV(halonet ect). Even, the youglings always seemed hip and not like they were monastery shut-ins.

The team shouldve changed duds during their mission, got into a disguise which even the A-Team when needed. It is hard to swallow the Imperials do not have a physical description of them or their ship, they never really hid either and Kallus himself has upfront seats.

Back in in the slums of Tarkin town all the civilians looked too well dressed and not like they're in poverty or bums like they're alluding to.

Seems they're recycling the same templates as civilians .

    My only concern..

Ezra is too OP in the Force for someone with zero training

Yeah. That was worrying to me too. That was a pretty impressive force push he did. But it could have been an 'in the moment' thing, where he just reacted and pushed more strength into it then he intended.

It was like a mom sitting down her child for a serious talk. It was a nice touch to the episode. It really makes me think that there becoming a family now.

    Mom: Hera
    Dad: Kanan
    Older Brother: Zeb
    Older Sister: Sabine
    Little Brother: Ezra
    Pet Droid: Chopper.

Isn't it nice when a family finds something to do together. Like...stealing from the Empire.

Long time no post, but I've retrieved my password just for this. They use the same models everywhere.

Even the minister was the same as the model in the clip you've posted. And the Kane Skywalker model in the picture in your post was used in the Tours Transporter thing. Though I loved the Metropolis like C3PO prototype in the same flight. Though I have a feeling this is to a pretty awkward PR rush to tie everything in the new Disney SW to Ralph McQuarrie (sp?). I have his artwork on my wall, but this is dishonest and disregarding of Lucas

Apart from the anti-gun drivel (ah, it's the people, stupid), the episode was a lot better than the premier.

Loving the show so far. Both the Pilot and Droids in Distress provide a much stronger start than TCW had. This has exceeded my expectations by a far margin. I was cautiously optimistic, but now I just can't wait for more.

Kept up the fast pace as the movie...much as I like the action I would not mind them slowing down and developing some of the characters.

After being gravely disappointed in the pilot episode , i sat down and didn't expect much from this episode. But this episode was actually very good :D 7,5/10
+ I love how Threepio and Artoo was portrayed in this episode , it was very true to the movies
+ Liked how they tied Kallus with Zebs backstory
+ The overall design of Lothal
    + The ending scene :D
    + The action was decent
    - that horned wannabe Hondo ( Yes i know his name is Vizago )
    - Kallus going from calm collected commander to mustach twirling villain, laughing over how he slaughtered the lasats.

It's great. I've watched the OT like 300 times against my mother wishes at the movies in the early eighties, but couldn't get into TCW. ( I liked the PT modestly, I loved ROTS, my second favourite SW movie, for reference) and I abandoned it shortly. Surely, the Rebels is a kids show, but I can hardly wait for the next episode.

oh and I wouldn't get upset by the Stormtroopers' incompetence, but in the Zeb battle at Garrell(sp?), they couldn't hit that proto-wookie from 1 yard. That's too much.

It definitely does have that OT feel, the scores they use during the episodes don't hurt either, I'm definitely getting into this quicker then I did with TCW, and I enjoyed that show a lot.

Have you heard of the spoiler for episode 5? It's...disturbing. And not for kids.

I'm must be too drunk, but I dont get why do you reference ESB. And no, it is not distrurbing. ROTS might be. I just didn't think TCW was really worth watching. I like Rebels , That's not that hard to comprehend I hope.

I wasn't talking about the Clone Wars. I was talking about the Rebels episode 5 spoiler that got released a week or so back. I get that you like Rebels, but there's no need hint that I'm ignorant of what you are speaking of or incapable of comprehending it.
