I would guess someone counted a double episode as 1. Tracy Cannobio (sp?) works for lucasfilm and posted on twitter is actually 16 22-minute episodes.

    Frak. Don't you dare Filoni.

I could have sworn they said that place was basically one big force vision. Creatures changing form made sense because its not real in that place. Like weird things happening in some dream.

But that stuff should not enter the physical realm of star wars.

We already have crystals "choosing" the Jedi. Do we also need star wars version of a animagus? Star wars is a mix of fantasy and scifi. I accept that, but it should not reach the point of becoming to much fantasy like.

Star Wars is actually more of a fantasy story set in sci fi setting.

This interview states that Thrawn's power and influence has surpassed Pryce's own power. Thanks to the Thrawn novel we now know how scheming she can be. I have a feeling that she will have a part in Thrawn's eventual downfall.

Actually, the events on Mortis weren't a dream. That was shown in the Yoda arc when Anakin and Yoda have a brief conversation in the episode "Voices" where Anakin tells Yoda he did speak with Qui-Gon on Mortis, meaning the stuff on Mortis maybe wasn't a dream.

Well, Ahsoka seems to have learned the power of shapeshifting. Wonder how they'll make it work but Filoni did say they'll go deeper into the Force this season so we'll see.

It also gives you the perfect vehicle for having Thrawn thwarted while not doing damage to his military reputation, since the book alos establishes he has a rather huge blind spot to politics.

Well, as long as it only leads to him being sent off to the Unknown Regions and not killed that would be fine by me (really, really don't want him to be killed off on Rebels. That belongs into a book for me). No way he can win in the long run on Rebels - I don't think they will change how the TV series is run in its last season.

If Thrawn is taking over control of the campaign against the Rebels (as suggested by Filoni in the IGN interview) the "high-profile strike against Lothal" quoted in one of the Rogue One background books (someone on here posted a pic recently) could be Pryce's excuse for getting him removed. As she could blame any negative outcome on him as being the one in command on Lothal.

Also interesting that Filoni left it a tiny bit open with regards to possibly another bad guy appearing:

IGN: Would we consider Thrawn to be still the big bad,... the final boss (in season 4)?

Filoni: (nods and laughs) In some ways, yeah, I would say that is true. It doesn't mean that there aren't more darker or wicked things in the galaxy, but immediately the main threat to our Rebels is still Thrawn.

Maybe there is something or someone else making an appearance? Or perhaps I was hearing things... The show has to end with a bang, surely, and I don't mean everyone other than Hers and Chopper dying in the last episode.

Why are people getting upset over the Ahsoka/wolf thing? The Father did use he essence of the Daughter to bring her back to life. Maybe she found a way through the Force to manifest into this wolf creature? She most likely died on Mortis. I don't think she'll be shape shifting like others here are saying.

Rebels would have the legacy of turning a TCW character into a *sigh* a....wolf. It's not helping the show's image.

The sad thing about this is Rebels could have already given her an ending that fit more with star wars, with her dying by Vader (and further showing his strength and fallen nature of the dark side). For her then to survive that but become a wolf in the aftermath just reeks of bad writing.

If before the s2 finale, we the fans were asked how we wanted Ahsoka's fate to be, I am positive being killed by Vader would be more popular then turning into a wolf.

The reason why she doesn't show up in the OT is because she should be killed off by the Sith, not become some intelligent magic wolf.

It also feels like an excuse to create a window for ahsoka to enter the OT era. Instead of drawing attention as a powerful lightsaber wielder, she could stay more hidden in wolf form.

Seems to me they keep creating unnecessary reasons for using Ahsoka post season 2 of Rebels. Let her go Filoni. She had a good run, and still plenty of material for her to be explored further pre-Rebels.

Leaving everything, including Ahsoka herself, aside, the idea of a Giant wolf anyway is just awful regardless, it really is and shouldn't need explaining why.
I see some posts defending it and I ask, are people on here really so loyal to Filoni and to Rebels that they are going to defend what is basically bad fanficton !
