You know I don't find the fact that a lot of the damage to Kanan's face was fixed since we could do stuff like this in real life during World War 1 (a hundred years ago):

I just assume the Rebels are too short on funds to afford decent cybernetics to fix the eyes or that Kanan's memories of Count Denetrius Vidian puts him off on going down that road.

Why "but"? Kanan doesn't want cybernetic eyes. Just like Tenel Ka didn't want at cybernetic arm. Case closed. :p

But why? Once it cools down it's just gonna be, like, double Zuko sans eyes.

^ That didn't traumatise children. Unless it did and I'm unaware. :p

Yeah, this. I mean, he saw what cybernetics reduced Count Vidian to early in his journey, and then saw the peace brought on with his friend Zaluna when she accepted her blindness. Plus, his entire character arc over the 1st and 2nd seasons was to learn to trust the Force again after having lost his way for so long. I'd honestly argue that it'd be out of character for him to seek out cybernetic replacements.

My Dad, who has been really only familiar with the films, recently watched Star Wars Rebels with me up to the season 2 finale, even though so far he has not been interested in any other medium for Star Wars stories.

Weirdly enough Maul appearing didn't seem to phase him, but he has asked me multiple times if Ahsoka is really dead. So I'm glad that Dave Filoni has stated that this question will be answered in the show. It would have been rather unfair for show watchers like him to have to look into the fate of a show character elsewhere.

Lego Thrawn is the coolest thing ever. Kanan's headpiece is also great.

Speaking of Ahsoka, I think keeping her death ambiguous only to later reveal that she actually did die is kind of stupid. Until I'm proven wrong by Filoni, I'll insist that we didn't see her die because she didn't die.

Also, LEGO Thrawn looks amazing and I need one.

Ahsoka's unfinished story isn't really keeping me happy either.

To be fair, Ahsoka dying is not mutually exclusive with her story continuing. In fact, that's the impression I've sort of gotten - she's not a Force ghost exactly, but very possibly something similar.

Imagine having to wait another year or two, only to be told "oh yeah, she actually did die in that battle." Why kill her off-screen? Even in Rebels, we see characters die all the time. Plus, after seeing Rogue One, off-screen main character deaths just seems terribly cheap.

Not showing her death and adding that scene of her walking back into the temple after the fight seem like pretty clear indicators that she didn't die.

For the record, I'm 100% okay with Ahsoka dying, but not in this weird ambiguous "maybe she didn't die!" way. (We get enough "fake deaths" in Star Wars as it is)

She promised Anakin she would never leave him again. I think we're going to find out the full commitment that invovles for her.

I never liked Darth Krayt, too much of a contrived character. But Ahsoka was a Light Side user to the very end and wouldn't turn, even to help the spark of Anakin left in Vader. The values of the Jedi were sacred to her. I'm not entirely convinced she survived to be honest, despite Filoni's vague comments. Vader thinks he killed her, as we see in Steps into Shadow.

As funny as you all think this is it could be reality, if only because they will need someone to have lightsaber battles with. Unless Maul makes it past season three.

According to Henry Gilroy at Dragon Con, Inquisitors are coming back after season 3.
