Apologies for the double post, I couldn't edit my other. Anyways, if anyone's looking for or missed the Sandpeople reference here is a link. I can see if I can find others.

The chicken fight was the choreography for Dooku v. Yoda in AOTC.

I noticed that too, come to think about it. Even as parody that scene is still painful to watch. Yoda - the flying squirrel. God help us... What was Lucas thinking?

Did you guys see that one Billy & Mandy episode on Cartoon Network, the Christmas episode?
Just as Billy, Mandy, and Grim reach the North Pole, Billy finds this cave and runs into it screaming "Santa? Santa?!" When he gets inside there is Luke, upside down, and a frozen to the ceiling screaming with the Wampa closing in on him. Billy looks around, screams and runs out of the cave.

I just about burst a lung.

    "Well?"
    "Nope. Santa wasn't in there."

Did anybody see tonight's Family Guy? Meg walks in on Chris in the bathroom, where we see his hair and hat are being lowered down onto his head just like the scene in Darth Vader's meditation chamber in ESB. Same music, even.

Yep. I love how Chris then turns around slowly while sitting on the toilet which also imitates how Vader turns around in his chair to face Admiral Piett.[face_laugh]

I wonder if Seth MacFarlane is trying to get GL's attention to work on the SW animated show?

The references to Star Wars started out a little on the sudtle side but now they are being right up front with them. This one is right up there with the medal ceremony and Lios pushing the emperor.

That was great. [face_laugh] Chirs turns around to meet Meg just like Vader did to Piett. Having the same music also made it great.

Yep, there's some references for the Trekkies to enjoy from both the classic series and Next Generation and Patrick Stewart is a regular character (Stan Smith's boss at the CIA) on American Dad and his animated character looks just like Stewart.

Seth MacFarlane and his writers are obviously total pop culture, and especially TV geeks with the sheer number of references that they put in, both mainstream and totally obscure.

Actucally,I believe Seth McFarlane's appearances on Enterprise were as a background crewmember on the Enterprise. He appeared in one episode of the Xindi arc,and then again in the Klingon two-parter the next season when his character was transferred to the Columbia.

In one episode of Kids Next Door on Cartoon Network was based on ESB. They were fighting in a Hoth-like place with the walkers and everything.

Anybody see last night's Drawn Together, with Boba Fett? I thought it was funny he had the same old-style phone the old man had as a communicator.

When the old guy called him to take out one of the main characters,I had visions of him looking like he did in the animated segment of the Star Wars Holiday Special, but he looked good.

I heard that Han Solo is going to appear in a upcoming Family Guy episode, one where Brian's gay cousin Jasper comes to Quahog to marry his partner. Just something to look out for.

The Han Solo reference was a reenactment of Han rescuing Luke at the beginning of ESB,with Peter Griffin as the dead Tauntaun.

    Very funny.

Palpy - "What the hell is an Aluminum Falcon anyways?" "Rebuild it? Do you know what this is going to do to my credit?"

I obviously don't do it justice... if you get a chance to check it out it is pretty funny

Oh God Almighty, that Robot Chicken clip was just hysterical!

And yes, one of my fave SW Family Guy references is in the Stewie movie, the "when I can't find the droids I'm looking for".

    Just priceless.

There's one where Brian and Stewey are in the desert out night and they have to cut open their camel like a Tautaun so they won't freeze to death. The Simpsons and Buffy the Vampire Slayer have tons of SW references too:

WARREN: What are, wait, what are you doing?
Spike picks up the Boba Fett action figure, removing it from its display stand.
SPIKE: Examine my chip, or else Mister... (looks at the label on the stand) ...Fett here is the first to die.
Spike holds the action figure in one hand and takes its head in the other hand as if he's going to pull the head off. The geeks are extremely nervous.
JONATHAN: Hey, all right, let's not, let's not do anything crazy here.
ANDREW: That's a limited edition, 1979 mint condition Boba Fett.
Spike grins, pretends to pull the head off.
