Star Wars television Commercials.

i would really like to get ahold of one of the esb commercials someone mentioned a few threads down. you see, my exgirlfriend has become obsessed with wampas and runs around saying "wampa" all the time (we're in college, but still). shes still my friend, so id love to show her that shes not alone in her love of the wampa.

I have a couple of old commercials I downloaded from some web site last year. The frame rate is pretty crappy but they are still somewhat watchable. I can e-mail them out if anyone wants them. joebafett@hotmail.com. I have: Death Star, 12" Boba Fett, Probot, Imperial Attack Base, Slave 1, Star Destroyer, and 2 different figure ads. I also have the figure ad that aired with the Holiday Special but don't have it digitized yet.

 

I also forgot to mention that if anyone uses kaazaa, I have the Lapti Nek music video which features footage not included in Return Of The Jedi. I am usually on after 11 p.m. eastern on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Does anyone have the HBO Attack of the Clones comercial yet?

 

I remember a radio commercial for Primatine Mist. the voices didn't sound like Mark Hamill's or James Earl Jones, but it mostly has Luke and Vader about to fight but Luke gives Vader Primatine Mist for his inflammation (of the lungs), and Vader can breath better. Vader then says, "Let's go fishing."


I liked the T.V. commercial for ESB when it was broadcast on NBC back in the 80's, mostly because they had James Earl Jones as Vader saying "Welcome, to the final (distruction?) of the Rebel Alliance", and they had that GFFA script running on the bottom of the screen.

The RotJ commercial enter chesse country (I think it played on NBC in 1991 or 1992) when the announcer mentioned it was the "Mother of all Battles." That phrase was soo over used after Desert Storm/Desert Shield.

 

Great thread guys. I have the NBC ESB opening tease with James Earl Jones saying some original stuff. Real cool. Its on vhs. Also the KFC/Taco Bell/Pizza hut commercial with the 3 icons. Also someone post the various Disneyland Star Tours commercials.

I have The Empire Strikes back and Return of the Jedi that we taped off of NBC the first time they showed. I can remember when ROTJ showed, it was a sunday night and it was snowing. Does anyone have any of the Advertisments for these showings?

 

Love the old Kenner commercials. I can't wait to see the ESB and ROTJ stuff.
