It sounds like we have a lot of really cool people on this board.
Hey I have an idea.
I know its not a new one but....
Why don't we plan a road trip to visit some of the star wars points of interest here in Cali? I've always wanted to do it plus we do have a sort of guide in the issue of the SW Insider that details this.
Anybody?

 

Talk to Kahunna. He's done it several times and is planning a trip to Yuma Arizona for this July to see the Sarlacc set.

I may be joining him, but it depends on my vacation time.

 

I don't live in L.A., but I'm in So. Cal a lot. I think that would be a fun trip.

 

Talk to Kahunna about it. He went to Death Valley to visit the SW sites.

 

Why would anyone want to visit Yuma in July? I went a few weeks ago and it was hot even then. I want to travel to Death Valley and Crescent City sometime this year also. It's cool that so many Star Wars related things happened in California. Last week I drove up to Marin County and saw the gate for Skywalker Ranch and even found ILM as well as a few other things.
