I've gotten a whopping one Imperial opportunity, and it sure seemed random. Had seven plans on me, used five to do a mission, and when it finished that Imp officer was standing there. Freaked out a little because I had just used most of my plans, and didn't know if she'd disappear before I could get eight more. Luckily, I did
Apparently some you get invited to join, others you use the message boards during the game to get an invite just wish I'd get a message saying someone wants to join my cartel since both times by the time I found out they'd already joined another cartel!
Never seen even one Imperial opportunity, best I've done so far is run two of Shortpaw's missions after accumulating Battle Plans. Only found out about the Crew Run Battle Missions in time for the previous Sector Battle (and not Anoat's) really need to focus on upgrading the crew for those!
Well, so far my plan is not working. Guess I'll just keep accumulating plans until a couple of hours before it finishes and then run Shortpaw missions. Not sure how much time I'll be able to devote to it today, though... It seems like more people are participating in the battle this time. I have a much higher "score" than usual but am ranked quite a bit lower than I was in the last couple. I think the Duros Literati cartel is higher than it has been, though...

Yes. Click on your image face icon, and then click the currency button on the bottom right. It will show all of your currency types.
I've only managed one piece of purple gear so far. So, my sector battle experiment was a total bust. I had somewhere around 80 battle plans stored up by about two hours to go and blew them all on Shortpaw missions. I still have never seen an imperial opp. Oh well. I ranked lieutenant, so I guess it wasn't a total bust. No idea how those at the top end up with so many points. Do they play for the full 24 hours? I put in a lot (too much, in my opinion) of time this battle and feel that the rewards aren't exactly worth it.
My experience is similar to yours. At a higher character level, your allowed tier goes up, and you can get more points per battle. I've just now made it to the Third Tier of the higher-end missions now, so I get better drops, and more victory points per sector assault. Still just gets me to Lt, which actually gives some good rewards. I'm still a LONG way away from qualifying for the Fourth Tier. Probably need high level Orange Gear to get that high. I think a lot of the highest end players have dropped actual cash to get more crystals to go fishing in the Premium Crane. That would give them rarer high end gear and upgrade crystals to up their character level, and thus provide more victory points for less time, and thus higher rankings/loot.
Still only one piece of purple gear here as well. I really want to get better, but I'll think it's gonna take some time.
I've got two, the Imp helmet I got from the whole Nar Hypa thing, and a blaster rifle I just got up that far. It takes a long time to grind up the gems and cash you need to convert them over, at least in tier two.
The premium crane gives crap in my experience. I used to get a lot of chromium just for logging in, and the crane just gets you green nonsense. Missa ab iPhona mea est.
Agreed. I have yet to get anything decent from the premium crane. I've spent a good deal of my chromium on expanding my inventory slots, though.
Doesn't it make sense for the Imperials to provoke a second Uprising at the same time as another as it divides the efforts of the Rebels? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Okay last night got a bit of a surprise and a shock. They're offering Trooper gear with the crane and crew with the subscription side of that. Tried the crane only got some guerrilla gear... sigh but spent the subscription surplus what with the about to run out Sector Battle over Hoth and managed to max out one of my two characters crew roster... Never tried so hard to max out items last night! Killed off a couple on my main character and barely managed to upgrade a few of the now maxed out new crew so eye opening for sure! So anybody else care to share their experiences of the latest escapade from Kabam?
