Det, MI Star Wars Vanity Plates

I'm pretty sure we talked about this a the last meeting, but I figure it's good enough to bring up again.

If you could get a custom Star Wars license plate for your car/truck/suv/motorcycle...what would you pick?

 

I have 2 vanity plates

My truck has Boba Fett spelled BOBAFTT.

My wife Blazer has MARA JADE spelled MARAJAD.

You can only have 7 letters so I did the best I could.

 

Those are cool.

When I worked at Summit Place mall, I would see this car at one of the smaller parking lots, and the plate on it said HANSOLO. I think the person worked at Suncoast, but I never found out.

A friend of mine in Birmingham had YT1300 on her car because it was like her own personal Falcon. "Come on baby, hold together." hehe

If I were to do it, I might try: MTFBWY or MTFBWYA.

 

I saw a car in Southfield, where I used to work, that had SKWK RCH (or something like that). I'd do MIRAX or MIRAX T if I got one. Hopefully that would be unusual enough that no one else would have it.

Now that I know how much they cost, I'm very tempted!! But, then I'd have to give up my Olympic plate, which I also love. Decisions, decisions.

I had a new thought on my plate and I'm really going to go for it when my B-Day rolls around next year. I'm going to get a UofM Ann Arbor plate (the one with the Block M on the far left) and then have IRAX put on it. What better way to combine two of my biggest passions!

Pardon me if this is a dumb question, but I can't help myself. What in the world is MTFBWY or MTFBWYA?!?!? I can't figure it out for the life of me.

 

Jayna I would say that MTFBWY is May The Force Be With You. And MTFBWYA is May The Force Be With You Always.

 

I like your idea Mirax. I know a couple of people who have used that M as part of their word and it looks cool.

I am seriouly thinking about getting one that says ROGUE 9. I want ROGUE LDR...too many letters.

 

Chris has a vanity plate (I'll let him tell you about it). I saw a plate a while ago that said SITH on it. I tried to dismiss it as, "ah, it's just the other meaning of sith." ....and slowly realized that I don't think there is any other meaning for 'sith'.
I thought about doing my stormtrooper TK number (TD0142), but thought that I might get confused with all the HAM operators. Not sure if this is taken or not, but pretty cool - STRWARS

Hm... I've never thought about a SW vanity plate. I already have a vanity plate. LOL

 

Well, knowing me with my yoda fascination...I'd probably get something like YODA973 (yoda with part of my birtday) or I like the all the starfighters too so maybe something like STRFGTR....or since the episode 2 is out now and its awesome maybe something like CLONES2...so many to choose from!!!

 

When I went to the AOTC midnight showing at Star Southfield, the car parked in front of me had "Boba Fett" stickered on the back window and the plate said "Jango". I thought it was cool to see that someone had put Jango on his/her vanity plate even before seeing the movie!

Motman 241, I know 2 troopers in Illinois who have their TK numbers on their plates. One says IM TK118, the other says TRPR 604. Both pretty cool. 118 has a rebel pilot friend who's plate says XWING 10 if I remember correctly.

If I were to put vanity plates on my car it would probably be Falcon.... My friend just recently got a new black sunbird and she got a plate that says Vader . Everytime I park my red car next to her. I always says that I should name my car a Royal Guard or something cause it always looks like my car is guarding her.. LOL

 

I just saw a truck on the way home from work, just now, that had the vanity plate CHEWIE on it.

R2-D2 and C-3PO are taken. So is HanSolo, Leia. Vader, Yoda, Anakin. When I went and got mine I asked for them all.
