It would be nice to see the resources of the Death Star actually used and shown before it was destroyed perhaps in the invasion of a planet. Before the plans for the Death Star are stolen, it is involved in the occupation of a planet which is able to raise a fleet of star ships larger than the one at the Battle of Endor against it. We could see space combat with the forces of the battle station be unreleashed to invade and occupy a rebellious planet.
A game in which you are your own bounty hunter. You travel the universe, modify your spaceship, armor, weapons. Also there should ne a sculpt feature where you can design your armor shape, guns. You could travel a vast galaxy with alot of worlds. Get bounties starting from a hometown kill to a galactic manhunt. This game would be epic!
There are already gazillion shooting games. I do not understand the point of a SW game that leaves out the lightsabers and Force powers.
A game where you handle a Sith witch or sorcerer: using imbued weapons, attacking enemies out of sight, summon creatures of the Dark Side...
That's Rogue Squadron. I'm referring to the recently announced Star Wars Anthology debut due to take place in 2016.
A game similar to droids where R2-D2 and C-3PO get separated from the Rebel fleet during the OT and must find their way back. The main three characters only have a supporting role in it.
This could be good. If it was picked up I could see it just becoming another Assassin's Creed / Shadows of Mordor but it could be so much better and more unique. In terms of setting, it might be better in the more 'fantasy' era of around 1000 BBY. 2 Playable and distinctly different characters, Bane & Zannah. Starting off the great plan, building their network to establish the Sith in the shadows, developing strongholds, acquiring wealth and favours.
Once we find out which new characters are the offspring of the Solo and Skywalker family, we need to have something like the New Jedi Order adventures in a game. The same will be true for new recruits of Luke's new Jedi Order.
You would traverse the storyline of one of several obscure or unexplored characters, going through the life of either a bounty hunter, a sith, a jedi, or even a generic foot soldier merely fighting to survive the fight. At several points the individual story lines would cross, and you'd always have the option of having a second player join in and either assist you in your current quest or take hold of those you seek to destroy.
After TOR and Mass Effect 3, I don't have any desire to see anything from Bioware. EA won't let Bioware finish their plots or make single-player games.
I really like TOR, but I think EA and Bioware made the game too hard. I will play the game for a week or 2, and then can't kill some overpowered boss so I'm running around the next day or 2 trying to level up (even when I do most side quests), and when that happens I get bored so I stop playing for 4/5 months at a time. And I refuse to pay real money for cartel points and credits to buy weapons and armor. They ruined the experience for me. However, if someone was to make a console version of TOR with an actual combat system, better graphics, not make it so reliant on running around and leveling up before every boss battle, and singleplayer, I'd be happy.
While discussing the Sith shrine underneath the Jedi temple in the Lit board, I got this idea of a Star Wars dungeon crawler RPG set in the depths of the Jedi temple. Seems like the perfect setting and video game genre to me.
I got more ideas- A Mnadalorian themed Arena Shooter (like Halo). So equal starts, balanced weapons and weapons pickups. Huge emphasis on movement and team work with jet packs and thrusters. Or a stealth-survival game set on Trandosha were some people play as a captured people trying to survive and escape the Trandoshan hunters. It would be open world and be on multiple islands on the planet. Once you die you become a Trandoshan and get to hunt down the other people.
I feel like those ideas would be too obscure to find success as standalone games, but could be intriguing as selectable game modes in another game, such as Battlefront. Alternatively, those ideas could be developed into standalone IPs, independent of Star Wars.
I saw Mickey Mouse as a Jedi which makes me think of some sort of crossover idea with Disney animated characters portraying ones from Star Wars. Maybe such as in a Kingdom Hearts type of storyline.
A Star Wars platformer would be cool. Maybe Yoda could be the main character and feature a Jawa and an Ewok as sidekick characters. Or make the Jawa the main hero of the game. It would be interesting to see was a platformer Star Wars level would look like.
I had an Idea! How about an awesome first person shooter! Where you could play as the CIS,Clones,Empire,Rebels and maybe a few more(after all its 2015 so lots of factions shouldnt be hard) And have loads of planets from TCW,the PT,OT and ST! And epic space battles. A single player campaign and multiplayer! Control loads of vehicles(Like maybe..... AT-AT's?) Make it class based. I even have a great name for it! STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT III.
a lego game that covers the PT, OT, TCW and Rebels. and have DLC where it adds more content to it from the ST.
I would really want a tactical shooter รก la Rainbow Six, with either Clones, Rebels or Stormtroopers. Or something like the cancelled Prey 2 in Star Wars:
