Oregon Star Wars VII, VIII, IX

News has been broke. We have a writer, director (J.J. Abrams), and Disney. Release for EP VII is 2015.

 

Wake me when it's time to go to Ep. 7.

 

What and miss out on all the craziness that is speculation, rumors, and hype. Don't you remember all the fun we had experiencing the "prequels"? Besides, it's dead in here, and I'm hoping all of the new Disney/LucasFilm Star Wars will generate a renewal in the Oregonfanforce.

 

Apparently they're supposed to release "mini" films that focus primarily on one character in between each episodes release (think Avengers). This sounds sweet, and it would be awesome if Boba Fett is finally given a film! I'd also love to see Dash Rendar/Kyle Katarn (either would do).

They've also confirmed that the 3D re-releases have all be canceled with all efforts going forward directed soley at the new films.

Oh and by the way rumor has all but confirmed that the first two "solo" (pardon my pun) movies will more than likely be a Han Solo origin flick and a Boba Fett bounty hunt flick.

 

hey all!!!! Im stoked that disney got the rights to our beloved Star Wars!!! I believe theyll give it the royal treatment it desrves! look at what disney has done for marvel and the avengers! And Im super stoked that all the og cast has signed on!!!! I didnt hear about the Han origin flick but Its come to my attention that ep VII is going to be about Luke and his jedi academy!!! "WHAT!!!!" oh yeah!!!

 

You may be right about Disney. I think they will do a good job....I hope.

December 18, 2015? Now if they would have said December 18, 2014...now that would have been exciting.

 

Gives us another year to speculate about it.

With all the news coming out from SDCC about SWTFA, I'm going to need to make room in my SW Man cave for all upcoming toys, books, comics, etc.

Yes. Look up Star Wars Oregon which is the combined efforts of the local Star Wars 501st Legion & Rebel Legion Costuming groups (Cloud City Garrison, Kashyyyk Base, and we even have a Mandolorian Mercs group). They have local events.
Rouge Toys in Clackamas Oregon this Saturday Aug 1st.
Sci-Fi Conventions- Rose City Comic Con in Portland Oregon September
Northwest Comic Fest in Salem Oregon in August.

Sad we don't have much of a Fan Force in Oregon anymore.

 

The Force Awakens is finally here. Are we excited yet? I'm gong to 7pm showing tomorrow. Excited is hardly the word I would describe how I feel.

TFA was awesome! can't wait for it to come out on blu ray! In the mean time I've started to read all the Awakens books and related comics. I'm going to be very busy.
