StarWars: Geordie Edition

Anyone seen this? I had a copy but I realised last week I'd lost it. If anyone has a copy they'd like to sell me, or knows where I could get one please let me know.

I can't believe it I'm a Geordie and I've never heard of Geordie Star Wars I must seek this out.

 

Well, when it comes down to it, it is illegal. They've used all the real footage from the films and just replaced the dialogue, as I understand it, and this is illegal to sell.

 

Jairen, do you have to be so miserable all the time? Look, it's not like we'd buy a copy of that instead of the real version is it, it's just harmless fun. And ta guys, I'm heading to eBay now...and don't worry, most of the stuff is genuine, although quite a bit is pirated - especially the Holiday Special DVDs lol.

Since being given his entry into the hallowed halls of the RSA Jairen unfortunately has to enforce the joys that are TOS and all that it entails.

He now carries the fabled weapon that is banstick (never used in anger in my direction ) and as such needs to be respected.










To a degree I agree with Dickie though, some mods post TOS based posts when required but even if someone advocates getting something slightly dubious they also post without their mod hat on (I know you do post with out the hat but I've never seen you do it over something that pushes the TOS envelope and I know you have a copy of ROTS that is of dubious aspect so you can't be a complete )

 

I've never said I'm an angel, however it's clearly against TOS to indicate and approve the purchase of illegal material on these boards. Since taking up the mantle of RSA, I have to hold myself to those rules rigidly on these forums however that does not mean I am necessarily a saint in the real world.

Oh, and when I say on these forums the TOS rules are valid for PMs as well, so be aware everyone.

Don't worry too much about that as Mods don't read PM's unless there has been some sort of complaint made about the sender or if they have valid reason to go in and check on something.


It's always sensible to be careful though as we wouldn't want big J to warm up his Banstick now would we?

i saw this years ago at uni. the guy who showed it to me said it was a bunch of his mates who'd put it together (not unreasonable-he was from durham). its an awful transfer but funny as hell!!

It may be illegal to sell. But is it illegal to share for non profit? I hate copyright laws, ya never know whats ok and whats not. I mean its tecnically illigal to tape stuff of tv and keep it (for more than 2 years i think) But then if they enforced that most of the country'd be in prison.

 

See, this is why I would have made a good RSA: I could've been the pally kind that lets you get away with things...

The rules should be enforced, they're there for the benefit of everyone, whether they like it or not


I know the TOS applies in PM's, but since I heard mods cant read PM's, how could you get banned?
