Survivor 10: Palau (non-spoiler thread)

I heard the two tribe leaders in that scenerio will be Ami and Scout. This is so MB can get his wish of calling the season Survivor Palau: Battle of Lesbians.

Well, the Scout/Ami thing is not a rumor, just me talking out of my @$$ to get a cheap laugh.

Figured Id dust this bad boy off for tonight's premiere. Definitely looking forward to it and from what Ive read it should be pretty good. Im interested to see how everything Ive read will play out. I just hope that the 'huge twist' really is exactly that and isnt something lame. Either way it should be pretty good and if everything goes according to what theyre saying than this edition should get off to a very good start.

 

Im really excited about watching this tonight. Should be good.

Great episode. The location is interesting despite it being an island.

That singing lady was hilarious. She sang her way on to the island and a few hours later she sang her way off.

The other guy who went with her needed to go for being stupid enough to jump off the boat so soon.

I don't think Jolanda should have gone. She had a strong personality, but there have been worse.

I am interested to see what happens.

 

I disagree, I think that the tribe made the smart move by voting off Yolanda. She was a loudmouth who tried taking a position of authority after she pretty much single-handedly blew the challenge for the tribe. Even though we didnt really know her all that well I think that it was a smart move because she seemed like the type of player that would be trouble down the road.

Anyway, it was a pretty good premiere although the big twist wasnt really all that shocking, at least to me (I saw it coming once they got to the island and there werent two separate camp areas). I kind of felt bad that the two people voted off pretty much before the game started didnt get a chance to prove themselves (although I am kind of glad nobody picked Wanda) but I also give the producers credit for doing something different and trying to shake things up a bit.

Also, anyone else think that they should have kept both tribes on the same beach ? Maybe its just me, but I think that the potential for drama there would've been off the friggin charts if they had.

 

Ya know what's funny? In her profile in TV Guide she says that she was on the show to prove that not all black women on Reality TV are bitches. I think she failed


Thank God they got rid of the singing chick, I couldn't have standed her much longer.


The tattooed chick, Angie, is one of the few Survivor chicks with an actual personality. I hope she sticks around for a while.


The redneck guy, James, is married to a stripper and plans on buying her plasitc surgery if he wins. Isn't that romantic?

Decent episode. Hopefully the plotting and backstabbing begins soon. That's always fun.

And that singing chick. Why did she even bother applying for this show? Heck, why did the producers hire her

 

Im sure they picked her precisely because she'd be so friggin annoying.

Thank God the castaways nipped that in the bud and didnt even give her a chance to play the game.

 

Yeah she was annoying but I felt kinda bad for Jonathan. He didn't really have a chance, but I guess that's what you get for jumping off early and not resembling Eva Mendes.

 

That Wanda lady was ridiculous. What an idiot. If she had watched any survivors in the past and had any interest in trying to win, she would realize that singing or playing a musical intrument is pretty much the end of any chance you have.

 

They should have voted off Kim. That potential alliance could be trouble down the road so why not nip it in the bud before it has a chance to even get off of the ground ? Dont get me wrong, Ashlee seemed pretty useless and nothing more than dead weight, but she wasnt even remotely a threat. I guess they just sensed that she wanted to go home like she said in the credits.

 

Yea I'll echo that Kim should have been voted off, dumb move on their part.

I really like Survivor but this season doesn't seem as good as the last one as of yet.

 

Now, now, we're only two episodes in.

Not only that, but last season sucked up until the last four or five episodes, IMO, so personally I wouldnt be comparing this version to that one just yet.

 

I always find it funny when Jeff tries to teach the teams how to play in the first few Tribals, but then seems to give up and stop caring

 

I think this season has started off pretty well though I felt really bad for those 2 people sent home right away.

Hopefully Palau turns out better than the lackluster All Stars and Vanuatu.

I wish Angie wouldn't show so much skin.

I'm surprised Kim didn't get send home. She was useless during the immunity challenge; I don't think she even attempted to pull the chest.
Then again, Ashlee seemed ready to check out.

 

Yea, I guess that it was more of a mercy vote for Ashlee, because Kim wasnt doing **** during the challenge.

Something tells me that theyre going to regret not breaking up that little twosome when they had the chance.
