Survivor 12: Panama - Exile Island (non-spoiler thread)

If I was the lone outcast living with a tight alliance who wanted me gone, and I continued to win immunitys and had the secret idol to fall back on, I would be the BIGGEST ARROGANT JERK I could be. Those people don't like me, and I keep winning and sticking around, I'd rub it in their face, then of course that could come back to bite you in the final two.

 

That's true. That's why I think that if final vote comes down to Terry and Aras its going to be ridiculously close.

 

Well, Cirie's gone...I'm glad Danielle is still there, I swear I am in love with her breast.

 

That sucks that Terry's gone, although he killed himself when he didnt give her the idol (although even then she may not have brought him with her since she's already proven that she cant be trusted). I dont even have much interest in the final jury now that its down to Danielle and Aras. I could honestly care less who wins now.

 

I'm pulling for Dani, I wouldn't be suprised if Terry voted for Aras out of sheer respect for his rival. Once again the Winner of the Car doesn't win.

Yea, I took a perverse pleasure from watching him get stitched up. For some reason I couldnt help but laugh

 

I know, it was a nasty fall, but it was just so funny to watch.

 

And the curse lives on. I swear, if I was ever on Survivor, I'd throw the car challenge. Ah well, at least Cirie didn't win.

 

I didnt watch the final jury but I watched the reveal. I was hoping that Danielle would have won, if only because I cant stand Aras.

Ah, well, until next time. Hopefully this one wont be in Panama again, though.

 

Wow Aras looks so much different. I really don't recognize him.

 

Yea he's noticably heavier.

 

Did anyone think that maybe Aras slipped and broke his hand to get the sympathy vote?

Anyway, that was a great last episode of this cast. Very exciting. Possibly one of the best Survivor casts since Pearl Island.

 

The last challenge was specifically designed to the other two a chance at it.

I don't like Aras, but I hate Terry, so I wasn't disappointed.

 

I can't see him falling on a wine glass, slicing open his hand in two places, and stabbing himself dangerously close to the kidneys, just to get a vote.

 

I do not like Aras. A pox on his offspring!

Missed it, stupid had to tape West Wing for my Aunt. kidding it was a pleasure. I had to watch The Simpsons anyway. How did Terry get booted if he had the immunity idol from the exile island?
Personally I think as well liked as this season was. They should dump exile island next go-round. it made very little sense. expecially for the mini-idol. i liked it better when it was hidden on the island with the team.

But Fairplay faked his Grandma's death to get symapthy votes.

 

It sucked to see Cirie go. At least she tried and came up with some fire at the very least. When Terry won that meal and bed I just rolled my eyes. He was gonna win and take it all. Then came the immunity challenge and I knew right then that Danielle was going to win. The challenge was designed in her favor. Though I was surprised to see Terry go first. The nod between Danielle and Aras came out of nowhere. I wouldn't have jumped off the platform just on a nod. Are you kidding me Aras? Of course he was probably about to fall on his own anyways.

Danielle winning the final immunity really helped her. I always saw her as a pawn in this game but finally she was in control and she made the right choice. Of course as it turns out, she couldn't have won against Aras, Terry, Cirie, and maybe half of the others. Poor gal.

Aras falling was funny at first, but when I saw those cuts I pretty much look away and cringed. The one in the back was particularly nasty.


So Aras is the winner. I can accept that. He had a huge target on his back from day one and still managed to survive to the end without the immunity idol for the most part. That says something.

P.S. He really ate himself back to health by the time of the reunion.

 

Danielle looked sad at the reunion show. Shane was pretty great on the reunion show, though. Everyone had bad hair. At least Cirie won a gas guzzler.

 

Aaah dammit. Aras wins?

Yea, I thought that the finale was pretty lackluster, basically because I was dissapointed that Terry wasnt in the final two. It would have been much more interesting if it had come down to him and Aras and would have made this edition at least somewhat interesting. Ah, well, hopefully the next version is better. The last 3 out of 4 editions have been pretty lackluster, IMO.

 

He could only use it leading up the final three. Once the final three was set, the hidden idol was no longer valid.

 

Too bad the hidden idol couldn't be used in the final two.

 

Meh. Aras is slightly better than Danielle, but I was really pulling for Terry or Cirie to win. At least they both got cars, they deserved something for as well as they did (in drastically different ways). Overall though a GREAT season, despite the lackluster ending, with an absolute fantastic cast. If we ever get a second edition of an All Star Survivor, I'd love to see Shane, Cirie and Terry participate.

 

I liked the final episode although I wish there were fewer commercials during the reunion.

I thought Aras would do better in that final immunity being a yoga instructor. Danielle had a big advantage being the smallest and a former gymnast.

Danielle made the right call bringing Aras to the final 2. Terry was guaranteed to win against her (or against Aras) as he had guaranteed votes from Austen and Sally and, you had to figure, probably from Courtney and Shane. Besides, she made a good point about Terry not giving her the immunity idol at the next to last tribal council.

Did anyone else think it was funny how Aras is "homeless" and "freeloads" off his father? Or how, according to Courtney, Danielle has finally learned to survive without needing "daddy" or her boyfriend to take care of her?

It's kind of weird that Aras won because young guys almost always lose.

I thought it was a pretty good season. They had some interesting people like Bob Dog, Bruce, Courtney, Cirie, Aras, Terry and (of course) Shane.
