She gained nothing from it.

I guess that depends upon your point of view. She may not have gained anything strategically, but they didn't get to eat Rupert's fish. And that's what she wanted. A sense of satisfaction.

I liked when Sandra said: "In my head I was saying I swear to screw Burton and Jon".

 

I'm still amazed it didn't occur to them to do this sooner. Had they done it last round they'd still have Christa. Though then there probably would of been a Christa/Sandra alliance. I like how its shaping up now. None of this stupid "We'll take you to number three" stuff just four people fighting it out for #1. Thats the way the game should be played IMO.

 

Can I just point out something? Jon is ******, plain and simple.

Thats another thing I don't get. Why wasn't he ******* from the very begining? It must be one of those things where he just puts on a great "I'm a good guy" act. Either that or hearing all of the things he says in the confessions (or whatever) just warps our view of him and the other's never see that. I just hope the thing with his grandma gets exposed before he leaves.

 

It's odd that as the game moves on, you actually keep the people around who you DON'T like. They're better competition for the jury.

In my mind, Jon should have gone instead of Burton when they threw that immunity challenge. Just think how much better things would be...

 

Sandra has to take Jon the end. It's her only chance at winning.

 

I can't believe Burton got kicked out. I really hate the women on this show! Jon's still cool, though.

Anyway, I read a confirmed spoiler about the final two, and lemme say, that I am happy..

 

The funniest thing to me was Burton at the end saying he hopes Lil can live with herself and how they had an alliance. What a joke! He was trying to vote her out! I am sure he just said that out of anger and frustration, but it was funny considering that Jon said they (the women) weren't smart enough to come up with a plan against them.

 

Lil plays the dumb girl pretty well. She now has control over everyone else, except perhaps for Jon.

I bet it's Jon or Lil, or Sandra or Lil for the final two.

 

I can only hope that Jon wins, though with Burton gone, I don't see that happening.

 

Sandra just pissed me off when she was talking about hiding all the stuff for revenge and so they would starve.

I mean grow up...

 

Is it just me, or could that look on Jon's face be interpreted as "Well, it was time for him to go."

I think maybe Jon orchestrated Burton's ousting.

Darrah better not win. That would make it two lame duck winners in a row.

 

My hopes are Jon and Lil. The snake, and a whiner so bad she make Anakin look calm by comparison. I root for Jon to get the million. He played the game best. He lived up to the 3 O's "OUTWIT OUTPLAY AND OUTLAST" He is not as fun as Rupert. But the Dead Grandmother will live on for a long time. Also anyone think that Burton in the last Tribal Counsel looked like a young George Lucas? Some angles suggest this to me. BTW I thought last years "Jeff goes to NYC" was so sweet on the Jet-Ski. I wonder what this year will bring.
QUICK POLL- WHAT SURVIVOR-PEARL ISLANDS event be remembered longest? Any event is fine. I think it will be a toss up between Morgan's winning streak, Jon's dead Grandma, and Osten's quitting. This was by far the best survivor ever. A toast though to the Suvivor-Past Contestant Edition that is to come.

 

Actually, I thought Rupurt's stealing the other tribe's stuff in the first episode was a classic...

Hope that's true! As long as it's not Jon, I'll be happy. I would like to see a Sandra-Darrah final two. I would be okay with either of those two winning it, preferably Sandra.
