Just got my order for the exclusive through!

 

Mwahaha!

 

Only took me 8 minutes to get through, and the exclusive Qui-Gon is mine!

 

gone in 30 min. got one.

see it this winter.

 

he does look really nice, I just hope they fix his hair before they ship him out!

I got the Exclusive as well. I was there right when it went up, and it only took 3-4 minutes to get through. I hope everyone that wanted one was able to get one.

 

I want to thank everyone who waited for me to get my Qui-gon Exclusive before logging into Sideshow. Because of your efforts I was able to log in and buy him in less than 3 minutes. That Qui-gon with Poncho may be going on MY shelf, but he belongs to all of us. [face_salute]

Rumours persist that Darth Maul is next, but then again, Darth Maul's been rumoured since Sideshow got the 12" line.

 

i've hoped for a villain since the beginning...i've been disappointed 7 times now...

 

Apparently we're supposed to see a sneak of the SDCC figure on April 6th. We may not see another figure for a while after that as they're building up for Comic Con.

I'm in a state of cogitation, I'm considering dumping my orders for Mace and Han. I Love, LOVE, LOVE Luke, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Kit Fisto, but am rather blah about Mace and Han. I'm thinking of waiting for a ROTJ or ANH versions of Han. I'll probably wait to cancel my orders until I've actually seen the final production versions of both figures though.

Of course this also comes from knowing that July-August are the months that I get hit w/ the highest electric bills and will likely need the money to pay them instead.

 

Well at least you are thinking sensible erika, I will have to see what the Comic con 12" is going to be if its not rotj related I am not going to get it but if it is I shall pre-order it and fetch it myself if I go this year or linda shall pick it up for me.

As I understand it, since they dumped Kit as the SDCC figure, they're going with an alternate version of a figure that's already out. Sith Anakin, or Final Duel Luke are high on the list of possibilities.

 

Well, I was out of town this past weekend and without computer access. After a harrowing 15 minutes of myself and a friend trying to call Sideshow's phone number to order Qui-Gon on our cell phones, my friend's phone finally got through and I was able to place my order for the exclusive version. After that was through and another five minutes of dialing on both phones, we were able to get through again for another friend who was interested in one. I'm happy!

 

I'm starting to stress out. I checked my bank account today and SS hasn't yet billed me for Luke. My order still says "Shipping soon." What's up??? I got mine ordered w/i hours of him going up Other people on RS are reporting that theirs have already shipped

 

Did you get a confirmation email with your order? If so, you could email the Sideshow Customer Service with the order number and ask them about it..

 

If you look over on Rebelscum it appears as if they're billing in batches. They might not have gotten to your batch yet. If you've got a confirmation email that your order was processed, then it's a good bet you have no worries. If people who are on the waiting lists start posting that they've been contacted and they still haven't billed you, then it might be time to worry.

I got an email from Sideshow saying that my shipping and billing addresses didn't match, but they do! I haven't heard from them again, so I'm hoping everything is ok...

EDIT: I just got a follow-up email and everything is good to go! I'm told it should be shipping next week!

 

That's awesome. I can't wait to hear from people when they start receiving these things. I stupidly waited too long for Luke and have to hope that the on-line store I ordered one from get it in and shipped to me soon.
