TV Discussion SWTV Diversity Thread (Minor Spoilers Allowed)

It's not just about skintone. It's about facial features. The clones' features are narrow and angular like Clint Eastwood's. Meanwhile, Captain Typho, also played by a Polynesian actor, has ethnically accurate features, and he's a background character.

I have a whole thread about how dark Temuera Morrison's skintone actually is. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links from the dead bird site, but I've collected several images of Temuera Morrison where it's clear his skintone is dark. Including plenty of images with white/light-skinned people for context.

I think the clones look better in Rebels actually not good but better

 

Change the eyes and maybe the hair and I think the Rebels clones would look perfect. (The hair is short and simple enough that texture isn’t really an issue, so I think it works, unlike in TCW.)

 

Glad we got a disabled rep in Star Wars.
