Some people think Filoni is pulling a fast one by having a character do things that make sense.

Because it's "his" character, all choices are under deep suspicion.

But I'm still waiting for the evidence that this would be considered "retcon". So far I haven't. Just vague answers.

 

In the very literal sense, it IS retroactive continuity. She wasn’t in the original scene, and now she is.

People use retcon in a more negative context these days, as in its erasing or undoing something already established, but the literal meaning is changing something about an established thing after the fact.

 

Two characters maybe meeting 1 year earlier, is the retcon. I dont see her being there as retcon.

 

It’s definitely a retcon, because wasn’t originally in that scene as it was conceived and depicted. It’s just not a retcon in the modern internet useage of the term. It’s like how it Quinlan Vos was retroactively added into TPM.

It's a retcon of Ahsoka novel, because Ahsoka and Bail didn't meet until one year after Revenge of the Sith. Surely, Padme's funeral occurred much earlier. And it's dumb for Ahsoka to risk everything and go out of hiding just to attend to a funeral. And it is also dumb, because how would she know? Was Padme's death broadcasted to the entire Galaxy, and everyone's invited to her funeral? Did they have free food and drinks, too? And again, it just completely throws the novel into a trash bin. It is as unnecessary and stupid as Kanan being in The Bad Batch.
I'd rather have an episode of Ahsoka and Barriss together. That would be appropriate and make sense.

 

So the latest leak says

that that Yaddle fight happens on Geonosis when it's clearly on Coruscant in the trailers, specifically in Palpatine's lair (The Works). So maybe take some of this with a grain of salt

 

The leaker might mistake it for

Some things to add, Source says it’s not actually geonosis, and very well could be courscant. They’re not sure, they saw the show in low quality, but I sent them some images of the underworks of courscant and they say that it resembles what they saw

It’s also possible that dooku could have been in contact with palpatine before this episode, and this is just the episode where yaddle finds out (she may have been observing him previous to this episode), but they’re not completely sure

With this show being as important or almost as Clone Wars, i wonder this could be a test project and not just more seasons but could also expand on certain episodes like Dooku's and do a show about them. Like Younger Dooku. This is what Filoni wanted to do and try, if success it could go so many ways.

 

I've always wanted a young Dooku TV series, either live-action or animated.

 

A prequel series for the Prequel Trilogy? Yes please

 

If they wants to do a prequel to the prequel trilogy, then Dooku and Qui-Gon is the way to go. Both has connections to Obi-Wan and Yoda. These shorts shows his turn to dark side, and only few momments in his life. There's 80 years of his life we dont know about. All content from before ATOC

 

100 years and 50 years before. So you could get two prequels. One with rise of the sith and one with life a future dark lord. Animation is best to do stories just before the Prequels.
