Loved that opening scene

 

I thought he looked less Native American. He just looked different to what he looks like in TCW.
I'll just have to re-read the book then.

 

In TCW he looks like a surfer dude

 

The opening scene was the best part. It just went downhill from there.

 

I really don’t know why we keep getting Tales of……series with TCW not being truly completed.

I’m certain an animated Dark Disciple would be a better choice than this Tales of the Underworld.

I’m not against the style of these Tales series in concepts, but I wish they finished the TCW stories first. Heck they could even transform these unfinished stories into “Tales of the Clone Wars”.

I also wish Tales explored other eras beyond just being mostly dark times and a bit of PT sprinkled in.

Imagine a Tales of the Academy, getting Luke n Ben stories, or Tales of the High Republic.

Why isn't it finished? There are seven seasons what bit needs to be finished in your opinion?

 

The arcs that were only halfway finished in production. And season 7 wasn't made properly, it was rubbish; it could have been so much better.

Overall, I liked the Cad Bane episodes. My only major complaint was

that young Cad "Colby" Bane and his childhood friend took 10 minutes up of the first episode searching through bins for food, they could have cut that down a bit.

 

I really liked the Ventress arc! Seems like a pilot for a Ventress show.

 

I thought as a whole piece cad banes was better but Ventress had really good moments...tho really didn't like the second episode or the ending... nowhere near as good as tales of the jedi

 

I haven't finished Bane yet...

 

There are literally about 50 Clone Wars episodes that either stayed in a rough stage of animation, released via a different medium (novels, comics), or simply just unreleased. This all happened when Disney bought the franchise and cancelled TCW, which in my opinion is the best Star Wars thing we've gotten in the last 20 years.

Whoa, I wholeheartedly disagree there. If anything, I would say that Season 7 was absolutely flawless and could not have been done any better.

 

I also thought TCW season 7 was great, and true to what went before.

 

I prefer the Ventress arc over the Bane arc.

Yes the Ventress arc was set up for The Path show with Assajj Ventress, Lyco her padawan and Quinlan and his jedi in the Path.

 

Wasn’t properly made...what on earth are you talking about?
I’m sorry but the animation quality, the fluidity of movement,the performances by the voice actors, the score by the Kiners...all of it was the work of people at the top of their game.


Not every single arc was of the same quality, but...that’s the show. That’s what TCW was. Some great arcs, some middling and some utterly terrible.

 

A little odd to release these in the middle of Andor. I suspect they’re hoping people will check them out after watching Andor, or something. And that it will get a boost this way. Because otherwise, it would’ve made more sense to release them later.

 

Happened with Tales of the jedi and Tales of The Empire. So nothing new

Right, but why simultaneously? Is it because of family dynamics? The family watches the animated show, then the kids go to bed and the parents watch Andor? I ask out of genuine curiosity.

 

They probably feel they have to push something out on May the 4th.

 

I remember Andor helped the dark theme of Bad Batch season 2 and the Dooku episodes about curroption

 

I’ll say this the Bane episodes were far more interesting to me than the Ventress episodes. The Ventress episodes weren’t bad they were great. The bane episodes were just more interesting.

Also Cad Bane has a son and he definitely knows it wonder if that will come up again
