Tatoos, Belly Button Rings, Hula Hoop earrings, and Thongs

Well, its like saying that all people of African-American decent are PLAYERS and WOMAN HATERS. Or saying that all HISPANICS BEAT THEIR WIVES. Which is NOT true, and its stupid to say so.

wow... i'd say that at least half of my female friends have belly button rings. about 75% of those are virgins, and none of them would be either strippers or porn models.

Perhaps the percentage of women who have tatoos, belly rings, hula earrings, and thongs is higher among promicous women versus non-promicious women. Doesn't mean necessarily that a women wearing any or all of the above is promicious though. Keep an open mind

And then go date women without them since the chance that they're promicious is smaller. Of course you may just miss the most incredible woman in your life ....

 

Carbon, I don't think you should let a thong tip you off as to what kind of personality a girl has. I think you should let her personality do that.

I'd bet that 90% or more of strippers are women in their late-teens or twenties. That certainly doesn't mean that 90% of women in their late-teens or twenties are strippers - does it?

I'm sure that at one point in history, women who shaved their legs were thought of as being "slutty", then it became the norm. Same with pierced ears.

At this point, belly-button rings, tattoos, and thongs have become fashionable. Women don't wear high heels because they are comfortable, they wear them to look good.

Looks are important, but some women who look sweet and innocent aren't, and vice versa. I'd say get to know the woman before you judge her. The way she behaves say a lot more than the way she dresses.

 

I have come to associate women wearing "some" of these items to be somewhat promiscuous looking, and politely put, "not for me".

I'm kind of wondering at what point is a woman "promiscuous". Judging from some of the opinions of sexuality on these boards, I kind of think some would argue that anyone who has had sex would fall under that category.

Secondly, does the amount of sexual partners a woman has had really make a difference? If the woman you are with tells you she's had more partners than you or your "limit", are you going to dump her?

I have three piercings in each ear. I wear large hoop earrings every day. I also have a belly button ring. And the only type of underwear I will wear are thongs. I guess I should quit teaching school and go work in the local topless bar--it seems that that's what I'm expected to do and the pay is better there anyway.

Yep--actually, women who showed their ankles or didn't wear pantyhose, or wore any kind of makeup, was considered a slut. More recently--when my mom was growing up, in fact--pierced ears were considered slutty.

I'm starting to notice that, too.

 

In my very limited experience, I find that the women who wear what you describe, (of course, I never found out if they were wearing a thong or not, but I'm polite), always seem far nicer to those people who dress 'conservatively'. That doesn't mean whenver I see a woman dressed 'conservatively' I run a mile, and it doesn't mean that when I see a girl with hula hoop earrings and tattoos I have nice long friendly chats with them, as it would be ridiculous to assume such a thing. Just as it's ridiculous to assume that a person dressed like that is somehow unappealling. But then, what do I know? Very little, it would appear.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU anakin_girl for sticking up for thongs. Why would I wear something that was uncomfortable? There's no point putting something on that I'd going to be thinking about all day because its hurting me or distracting me. OF COURSE we wear them because we find them comfortable.

 

They don't look comfortable . But they look rather nice, too, so that's alright .

 

That's my point. It LOOKS like it wouldn't be, and it LOOKS like girls only wear it to be slutty, but that's not the case at all.

 

THIS JUST IN!- everytime a women smiles at me, it means she wants to boof me...and therefore she is a slut...and i'm "high risk" because my favorite number is and even number.

I think a girl who wears these items has a greater chance of being slutty.

Personally, these things are major turn offs to me, and if a girl is wearing them I know she is not Mrs. Right. The main reason being that I don't want to marry a girl not of my religion, and any girl who has a tatoo or mulitiple rings is not my type. Of course I don't have anything against big earrings other than it makes your ears sag when you are old. I am generally agaisnt thongs as most of the girls I have seen with them on are quite disgusting, but I saw this girl at the mall with one and it was shocking to me that it could look that good.

I know people who have tatoos and belly button rings who are accountants etc. They're just average sort of people.

And thongs (though we call them something different here) are definitely not an indication of promiscuity. Maybe if she is dancing in only that, that's a sign she's not for you.

My G-strings (thongs), are mainly for a little variety and also to go with certain outfits so I don't have a panty-line, like someone else said. Some men wear both boxers and briefs, it's the same.
