One hour specials could work with three episode arcs, but not with four episode arcs (about 80-85 minutes in total) that would be watered down to just 60 minutes; cutting stuff out would be dumb and would also leave the fans wanting to see it all.

If they want to edit the arcs together, they should do it properly and not take stuff out but rather add stuff (the Darth Maul Returns DVD was a Director's Cut, was it not?)

I think either this month before or after Christmas or next month after New Year's Eve/Day, we will get our announcement on starwars.com on the 2014 release date, format, and number of episodes for the BC. And, I think it may be either a DVD release or Disney XD broadcast release.

So I asked Pablo Hildalgo about the JediNews info from their source Jedi Master SQL:

"Is there substance to report on JediNews about TCW BC being 10 episodes that stand alone, and disjointed, non-sequential episodes?"

    And his response:

Infinata: When word comes out, I'd be happy to go point by point on how wrong this guy is.

So, I think this settles that this information is absolute rubbish from this guy.

He might now know about CW, but he does mention something in this update that I have heard independently and haven't seen anyone else post about. So I think he is getting some legit info somehow.

You are my hero. Thank you for putting this garbage rumor to rest. On another note, I don't think I'll be using jedinews as my main source for Star Wars news anymore. Everything I've heard from them in the last month has not been credible at all.

Cartoon Network isn't going to happen. Disney and Warner Bros are competitors.

ABC would certainly be more convenient for me and probably a few others, but I don't know how locked in the network is to its current programming.

I thought Disney XD was pretty much confirmed for this? Who knows...

So all the spoiler-like info from Poland is rubbish and wrong and not true at all?! Or just the number of the episodes?

I like how Pablo manages to not reveal anything yet, get himself in trouble and keep our spirit up at the same time. Kudos to the man.

The tl;dr version is that no one knows **** at this point. Except maybe Pablo.

They're all trolling us and laughing.

Hidalgo: "I see that TF.N's Star Wars TV forum is talking about Tano again."

    Filoni: "What are they saying?"

Hidalgo: "Well, there's a guy named Todd who threatened to go through his TV screen if she appears in Rebels, some chick named anakinfan says 'oh hell' every time her name is mentioned and on bad days, has mentioned wanting to feed her to the Ewoks, and there's a guy named GG who has since disappeared into PT trivia land, and a few others...but I hate to say it Dave, if she were real you would have some competition for her affections."

Filoni: "Sounds ugly. They need a diversion. So what should we feed them about this, uh, bonus content?"

Hidalgo: "That Cad Bane is still being held in the Citadel for stealing your fedora?"

Filoni: "Nah. Too easy. What about this Order 66? Everyone wants to know about Order 66."

Hidalgo: "Great idea. We could also talk about Yoda. People want Moar Yoda. Combine that with Mortis. Everyone loved Mortis, right?"

Filoni: "A few people didn't, they said it looked like a death stick trip, but let's face it, they only know that because they're on death sticks themselves. Or they drink inexpensive dry white wine and lots of it."

    Hidalgo: "Inexpensive dry white wine?"

Filoni: "Never mind. Go with the Yoda arc. And Clovis. Half the people want to see Anakin beat up Clovis, the other half want to see Clovis beat up Anakin. Win-win."

Hidalgo: "Great idea. But when exactly are you planning to tell people that the only finished scene in the bonus content is a lost ending in which Ahsoka does a fly-over the Jedi Temple in an original model X-wing and yells '**** YOU MACE!' over the ship's com system?"

Filoni: "Um...let's go grab dinner, shall we?"

Well the 10 episodes thing is certainly rubbish. Whether the Poland thing happened or not I don't know. I suspect that if there is a trailer it would have been put together by now and they are just waiting to release an official announcement before they can debut it.

    - Order 66 ARC
    - Yoda ARC
    -Bounty Hunter ARC
    So possibly 15 episodes?

Something I didn't quite get regarding the prequels was that I thought Padme was supposed to be dressed such that her pregnancy was hidden. I mean, in ROTS when Anakin sees her, she has to tell him that she's pregnant, he's not like "holy hell, I'm going to be a dad" immediately.

I figured when Obi-Wan calls her out on Anakin being the father, he was seeing through her ruse.

But she went running to Mustafar making no attempt to hide it. C3PO would have known. It didn't seem to come as any particular surprise to Bail or Yoda, and that the only surprise seemed to be that she was carrying twins. And then others have pointed out that in drafts of the script and/or the novelization, it is mentioned that Yoda wants Padme to look like she's still noticeably pregnant for her funeral.

So... did everyone know she was pregnant and just not know who the father was? Were the Jedi all collectively looking the other way on that one? Or was there someone else (like Clovis) to draw attention away from Anakin and Padme having a relationship and to hide that scandal?

I would think the Jedi would be able to sense the baby in her... a new life form and its presence in the Force. The twins part may be hard to sense when they are small fetuses ;)

The ruse would be to trick the dumb@ senators methinks. To your point, it would be interesting if the Clovis arc would touch on this. I doubt they were getting into the pregnancy that early though since they were planning 8 (!) seasons. Sigh...

I like to think that some Senators were smart enough to figure out she was pregnant and not say anything... But then these senators just went along with a Sith Lord in ROTS and do not even think to question why their new Emperor would order the slaughter of children who have done nothing wrong so maybe the Senators were just that blind and so did not see Padme's pregnancy at all?

Well we never actually saw Anakin kill anybody. Maybe he had second thoughts.

    ;)

The dead youngling with lightsaber wounds could have been a straggler taken out by Sidious when he went to meet with Vader.

On a serious note, Anakin doesn't find out Padme's pregnant until ROTS, so the matter of Padme's pregnancy won't be touched on in the bonus content itself, I wouldn't think. But Clovis seems like he should know that there's something going on between Padme and Anakin, and so long as he survives this next Clovis arc, I'm curious if Anakin will intimidate him to keep his mouth shut or even use him to draw attention away from the Jedi-senator scandal, perhaps by encouraging the two to make public appearances together.

I'm running with the assumption that by the time of ROTS, many people noticed that Padme was pregnant, but apparently were too stupid to see that it was Anakin (or they saw it and didn't really care). Based on the films alone, there are no other men shown to be in Padme's life that one would really believe to be the father, but Anakin and Padme are inseparable. So I'd be curious if someone like Clovis is used to take the attention away from Anakin and if fellow senators believe Clovis to be the father, etc. with Obi-Wan being too smart to fall for that.

Based on what's been said about the licensing agreement with CN ending at the end of this year, I wouldn't expect to hear or see anything official about the BC until Jan. 1 at the earliest. I'd say whatever Disney rep was in attendance at the event in Poland is probably looking for a new job right about now. Corporate lawyers don't mess around when it comes to moratoriums on licensing agreements. Any unauthorized information leaks pertaining to something currently in WB's corporate portfolio will not be taken lightly. I'd say Filoni and Co. had to be very careful from a legal standpoint even announcing any further TCW content to come. I'm as eager as anyone to see what's coming, but I realize we must all be patient.

I don't think the Clovis arc will have any allusions to the pregnancy. It would be cool if it did and folks were going around talking about Padme's fling with Clovis. That could be a great cover up. I'm curious to see if the Clovis arc will allude to how much Obi-wan, Yoda, or anyone else knows. Maybe they know the truth and lie to themselves or cover it up. Perhaps they will think the baby bumps from Clovis. I wonder how badly Anakin actually take it if Padme were accused getting in bed with another man. I don't think the Clovis arc can avoid going into some details about the secret marriage. It already looked pretty blatant in the first appearance where Clovis should have died. If Anakin is acting all jealous around Clovis and throwing him around after finding him in Padme's apartment (its kinda fuzzy) in this arc I'm not sure how else it can be taken.

From what I've gathered the agreement with CN was on a year to year basis. I could be wrong, but I thought that was what I read somewhere.
