So am I. It's not arriving in stores here (but that's probably because I don't live near a 'Major city'), or getting shipped by amazon.hmph.

The people I have talked to at my local TRU have seemed pretty incompetent. They know absoulutly nothing about star wars, and when they get back on the phone after checking on an item they know absolutly nothing about, they say: "Yes--" My heart skips a beat, I think 'They have it!' "--we don't have that item right now, but we get a new shipment in on saturday."

I just sent another e-mail to Amazon. My order is still sitting with a May 15th ship date. I also got that $15 promotional discount, I placed another order today and guess what, the $15 bucks wasnt taken off the order. I am really starting to get ticked at them.....................

I think what they're doing is steadily bumping it up to the orginal date of mid-June.
I wouldnt be surprised if it is.

 

I get paid on Wednesday, so as soon as I do I'm hitting TRU to see if they have any of the Gunships.

Too bad! My favorite is when all the Arc troopers are in the gunship, and I really want that battlepack!!

 

I ordered this off of Ebay. I'm tired and frustrated with Amazon.com, and as of this week I no longer have a car, so I can't be going to TRU. Not a bad price I guess, minus the shipping, but oh well. I really want this ship and I'll be very excited when it arrives. I have all my ARC Troopers standing by.

After I ordered this thing on Ebay now Amazon finally gets them in and is ready to ship mine out soon. I can't cancel my order because apparently it is in preparation for shipment. Now I'm going to be charged for it when I can't afford it. I've emailed them, but I fear I'll have to return it. It had that free promotional item, so I don't know how it would work.

 

Maybe you could just put it up on Ebay when you get it?

 

It's possible. I haven't sold anything on Ebay before, so I'd need someone to teach me. I'm not too fond of shipping packages out, either.

I got the gunship from Ebay today... I haven't opened it yet but the box looks remarkably good. I'm sure I'll enjoy it very much.

 

My battlepack is supposed to ship tomorrow. (I hope it will this time!)

 

I swear that I have no officially had it with Amazon.com. They emailed me after my inquiry and cancelled the Gunship order, which is great. Thank you. However, in the process they also cancelled my Battle Pack. They did give me a promotional code for $5 toward my next purchase... now get this. I reordered the Battle Pack, yet the promotional code apparently was an older one that had already been used. So now I have to wait until August for my Battle Pack and I don't even get that promotional code after all. I cannot believe this. I emailed Amazon again and am awaiting a reply. This is outrageous. I'm very upset.

Things are finally somewhat resolved with Amazon, I guess. They sent me an email saying they were sorry for having canceled my Battle Pack and they gave me free shipping on it. Apparently that $5 discount isn't good on TRU.com toys. That's pretty much all I order in the few times that I use Amazon so that bites. They told me they don't know when the Battle Pack will be released, so the August delivery date isn't inaccurate, which seems odd to me since the original order had a June delivery date. They said they'd ship it when it arrived. I hope they're right.

 

I found out that the battlepack has only been released on ther WEST coast, but should come here midway to the end of the month. (I learned this from the guy at my local toys r us)

 

I'm glad I read this last page -- I've been getting a bit desperate with this ACCURSED Saga line as figures like Grievous, the AT-AT driver, Cody and his troops etc. continue to prove IMPOSSIBLE to find, and was considering buying them from Amazon. Now I'm not so sure...

I take it that I don't have to start worrying about the Hunt for General Grievous battle-pack just yet? Judging from what some of you've been saying it doesn't sound like it's going to start shipping any time soon....

 

So has anyone gotten a straight answer from Amazon about the gunship? Are they going to ship our gunships or not? Are they anticapating more or not?
