I'm going to put out an album called "Ten Thousand Fisticuffs".

The first song shall be entitled, "Put Up Your Dukes, Nigel."

I've listened through it a couple times now. It's not as good as The Sickness and about equal with Believe.

I don't think they will ever be able to top Down with the Sickness. In fact I don't think anyone will be able to top that song.

That seems to be a pretty fair assessment- I generally find The Sickness to be the best of their albums overall, though I really prefer the sound of Believe more, and, though it shifts the sound a bit more in some other directions, Ten Thousand Fists is similar enough to that for me to equate it with Believe.

I just wish I could stop hearing the catchier elements of the songs in my head, as it's kinda hard to go to sleep when all you can hear is the chorus to TTF and Deify in your head ;)

    This album is brilliant !

It's the first metal release I listened to and enjoyed in its entirety since Toxicity.

Am listening to it, and I'm loving it.

10,000 fists is a good song, a great opener.

I'm really loving some of the aspects of the tracks I'm noticing- they really set the rythym/pace with the vocals (almost like rapping at times, but with emotion), sometimes even counter to the drums or dmanding a different interpretation of the drums than what you'd normally be inclinded to percieve. It leads to a rather complex, but enjoyable, listening experiene- sorta like they're challenging you at times, yet you'll suddenly get it and it just seems like the natural path.

*is jealous of all you people with money to buy albums*

I have Believe and I like it a lot. I also have Down With the Sickness, though I don't have the whole album. But I've always really liked Disturbed as a band, so I'll hafta find a way to get more of their music.

    Hmm.... [face_devil]

i used to dig disturbed. i still listen to my down with the sickness album from time to time. but i've since shifted somewhat to the punk scene lately, and have become more or less indifferent to metal. *shrugs*

i still like disturbed enough so that i might purchase ttf next week when i get paid, but paying off my new computer comes first, we'll see...
