    The "101" in T-800 Model 101 refers to the outer cover of cloned skin. All Model 101s look like Arnie. A Model 102 would look different. Regardless of the model number, however, they're all T-800 Endoskeletons.

    Oh, my bad on the model numbers.

    ~~~~~
    And I think Kyle Reese would destroy both of them with plastique. Michael Biehn rules! MB forever!!
    Yeah, that's why they refer to all the T-800s as T-101s (erroneously) in the novels 'T2: Infiltrator' and 'T2: Rising Storm', because they all look like Arnie (or rather, "Deiter von Rossbach", the CIA operative on which Model 101s are based).
    EXACTLY! ROBOCOP IS A MORTAL, BLEEDING MAN! THAT'S EXACTLY WHY HE WOULD DIE! HOW CAN ANY OF YOU ARGUE WITH THAT?!
    There's books?
    To HavocHound: Alien vs Predator comes out next year.
    PS> Yes, T2 was the first ever film to use CGI. I learned so on AMC: Behind the Movies.
    1. There are a few books, yes:
    - 'The Terminator' film novelization by Randall Frakes
    - 'Terminator2' film novelization by Randall Frakes
    - 'T2: Infiltrator' (takes place in 2001) by S.M. Stirling
    - 'T2: Rising Storm' (sequel to 'Infiltrator', spans late 2001 to about March 2003) by S.M. Stirling
    - 'Terminator2: The New John Connor Chronicles: #1 - Dark Futures' -- first in a trilogy. Isn't all that good. Luckily, it's an "alternate universe" story. :)
    2. The AvP film doesn't even have a script, let alone actors or filming. It ain't coming out next year. Try maybe 2005, at the earliest.
    3. T2 wasn't the first to use CGI. Remember, 'The Abyss' had the water-tentacle, which was CGI, and paved the way for the T-1000 special effects in T2.
    Yeah, the T-1000 in T2 became a reality BECAUSE the water-tentacle in 'The Abyss' worked so well.
    this is not a hard question.
    Robocop would win HANDS DOWN.
    why? because the Terminator is NOT a cyborg. Terminators are completely machine, with an organic "wrapping". They operate independently of the organics, and therefore they are not cyborgs.
    Robocop is a cyborg because he has human parts inside that are required for him to function. If you shoot robocop in the head he will die, because he has a human brain.
    so it doesn't matter what any of us think about who would kick who's ass, because Terminator is automatically disqualified from the competition because he is NOT a cyborg.
    About AvP, Paul Thomas Anderson (Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat) will be writing the script, and most likly directing the film. Although right now he's still touching up the Resident Evil: Nemesis script and he may possibly direct. For AvP, think around 2006.
    Paul Anderson did 'Magnolia'? I think you're thinking of a different Paul Anderson (there IS another one out there). Paul Anderson who's doing AvP also did 'Mortal Kombat', 'Resident Evil', and 'Event Horizon'.
    You're right, I apologize. I'm getting the two confused, again. Although now I edited my last post so this makes no sense to anyone who is reading it. heh heh heh
    I forgot to edit in my last post that it's not Paul Thomas Anderson doing AvP, it's Paul W.S. Anderson.
    Edit 2: it's just one of those days....
    Paul W.S. Anderson: Mortal Kombat, Event Horizon, Resident Evil.
    Thank you Whimper.
    Now back to Terminator vs. Robocop, Terminator would kill him in seconds. :D
    Are we talking a hand to hand fight, or each with their choice of weaponry?
    Because Robocop wouldn't last 10 seconds against a minigun... for that matter, he's considerably less mobile than Terminator... and less durable... and less agile... and physically weaker... and more succeptible to pain... and more succeptible to human emotions like fear and panic...
    Regaurding the Aliens vrs Predator movie. If that finally comes to fruit it will be awsome! I thought though they still couldn't get the two on one film because of licensing disputes?! ?[face_plain]
    Talking about scripts is pointless too, it doesn't matter if you have a script finished, look at Ironman the movie, Superman Returns, etc...; just because rumor has it that there's a script being done or been done doesn't mean it will get made! I've heard talk of a script for this since the early 90's when everybody got all crazy over the Alien skull in Predator 2! But, hey, they finally made Spiderman, so who knows! [face_plain] I'll keep my fingers crossed! :D
    How can you say that! Robo took ED-209's best shot and still kicked it's butt, a minigun would damage the heck out of him, but a Terminator would be just as damaged too! Do you think a Terminator could take a shot from one of those Cobra Assualt cannon guns from the first one?!
    Robo has a brain, and can improvise, where the Terminator, yeah it's good, is still a machine that has to learn. Also, if Robo gets in close he could just "jack" into the Terminator and reprogram it to beat itself up! Robocop sure is taking a beating from everybody, but I still believe in him! :)
    Here's approximately how the fight would go:
    Terminator and RoboCop each empty their entire magazine into one another. Neither sustains significant damage. T's flesh is torn up, R's got a few little dings. They close with each other. RoboCop pulls of Terminator's head. The end.
    Oh, the Alien skull in Pred2 spawns from the AvP comics, which predate Predator2. Stan Winston himself put the skull in there BECAUSE of the success of the AvP comics.
    But the xenomorph skull in Predator 2 doesn't make any sense because xenomorphs are silicon-based and have exoskeletons like insects so when you say "bug hunt" it literally means "bug hunt" because you really are kind of approximately hunting "bugs" though xenomorphs aren't technically "bugs" because a true "bug" is an insect of the phyllum hemiptera (sp?) which includes flies and gnats and other such things which have nothing to do with xenomorphs so I guess "bug hunt" is a colloquialism unless you mean "bug" in the laymen sense which most people do anyway.
    That skull isn't a skull. It's the bleached exoskeleton. :)
    Oh, ever heard of the AvPNews.com messageboards, or the Aliens Online Encyclopedia website?
    I have the Aliens vs. Predator game on my comp in which you can play as either a Predator, a xenomorph, or a space marine and if you play as a xenomorph you can climb on walls and your view is distorted like in Alien 3 but only slightly and I've never played a 1st-person game before in which you can climb on walls and I think it's cool and I'd like to see something like that in other 1st-person games because it would rock sooo hard.
