Day 6 - Which Jedi looks the coolest / has the best design?

EP2 and The Clone Wars version of Kit Fisto.

Really it's the grin that does it. The rest of it brings it together. The green, the tentacle head, the marble eyes, the Jedi robes. All of that. And then the grin brings it all together and takes it to another level.

Revenge of the Sith changes up a number of the nonhuman Jedi's heroic look into something more monstrous. Kit Fisto's perfect teeth and smile gets replaced with a craggy set of teeth. I like the subtle change up for what the movie is saying. The galaxy's view of the Jedi has changed and we see a physical embodiment of that.

But I prefer the heroic Kit Fisto. That's the coolest Jedi for me. And we get even more of him on the Clone Wars. We can see just how cool Kit Fisto is. We see more than just his smile. But really his smile and his personality are tied together. That's very much his personality.

There was never really any other option for me. Not only do I think he's the coolest looking Jedi, but the overall coolest looking character in all of Star Wars. Kit Fisto.

I already thought this after seeing AOTC and ROTS, but TCW somehow made him even better. It's a combination of the green skin, the long tenticles, the black eyes, the Jedi robes, and as Smuggler_Droid said, his amazing smile! He also seems so chill and cool about everything. Seems like he'd be a cool dude to hang out with.

Honourable mentions to Shaak Ti, Aayla Secura and Plo Koon.

Maybe it's just because I love his arc so much, and how it shows a different side of the Clone War, but I'm going with Pong Krell

A’Shared Hett (The Tusken Raider Jedi) I think he could be cool to see in the Obi Wan show as kinda a antagonist who just makes Obi Wans life more difficult for him by having his clan attack moisture farms near Luke and stuff like that.Doubt he would become a Sith like in legends but could see him as sorta like a “Dark Jedi”

wait this looks really cool I am now joining this game :D

Which non-canon Jedi would you want to see brought into canon?
Siri Tachi - she and Obi-Wan's chemistry was literally off the charts, and she was pretty hecking cool on her own. Plus her influence on Obi-Wan's character is really interesting and realistic, and she was overall just a kind of "original" idea of a Jedi, and a pretty charismatic and amazing one.

I'm tempted to try to cheat and pick an offspring of a non-canon Jedi who would then necessitate that multiple Jedi exist in canon.

    But I won't.

I'm going with Mara Jade Skywalker.

I love the move from Hand of the Emperor (and, honestly, wish we got that in post-RotJ canon anyways) to Jedi. I love the way she mixed stealthy spy with the Force (and we'd be better served having an honest Rogue as a Jedi). I don't even need her to hook up with Skywalker; she's fine to come in on her own terms.

In the hopes that we start seeing some Old Republic content, I'd love to see Satele Shan.

She's my favourite character from that era. So powerful and so skilled. Seeing her fight Malgus in the Old Republic cinematic was just mind-blowing. Catching a lightsaber blade and destroying a mountain. I've wanted to see Jedi perform feats like that in the films ever since. Revan would be a great choice too, even though he's sorta technically canon.

Day 7 - Which non-canon Jedi would you like to see brought into canon?

Non-canon you say.... hmmm. Who to pick. Who to pick. Of course...

I'll have to go with Jedi Master Duggler Smoid!!!

He was a real swash buckler when it came to the light saber. A cunning fox. Part Zorro, part Robin Hood, part Pablo Fanque, part Lincoln Beachey. Champion of Force Bowling. A beloved hero on free worlds. A hunted outlaw on worlds where tyranny rules.

With a secret identify working as a clerk in a day spa by night, he's a daring Jedi Knight by day. Anyone that crosses paths with this Jedi will not soon forget that name- Jedi Knight Droggler Smuid.

And if we have to go with a real choice.... I'm going Kyle Katarn. I really enjoyed the Dark Forces and Jedi Knight games. His story would need to change a lot but the character can largely stay the same. Leaves the Empire to join the Rebellion as a spy. Has a father with ties to the Jedi. He's called upon to search out a historic Jedi location. From there he meets up with Luke Skywalker. Luke further trains Kyle Katarn. Maybe Kyle then goes on to teach additional Jedi students.

And Kyle Katarn is killed the night Ben Solo destroys the Jedi temple. Kyle is killed by Kylo.

Any of the prequel Jedi I'm a fan of are already canon at this point. I wasn't really a fan of any other Jedi from the old EU. I read a lot of those books 20 years ago but very few stand out to me. Just not a big fan of the post RotJ stories. Other than Conrad Horn and Mara Jade I couldn't name any of the new Jedi not related to a Skywalker.

Day 15 - Which villain is the most menacing?

    The Emperor

    Darth Sidious

    Palpatine

    The Phantom Menace

I think Darth Sidious is the most menacing and evil villain in all of movie. Maybe all of stories. He's nearly the personification of evil. Especially after The Rise of Skywalker where he takes on more of the never ending deity attributes of the devil.

Does Darth Sidious have the lost souls of former Sith Lords inside him? Is he master over the previous Sith Masters?

We have the OT Emperor who is like a king. His personality is where we see most of his evil. He unleashes his Force powers at the end but mostly he talks and knows things.

Then we have a deal making devil from Faust in the Prequel Trilogy. We see Palpatine the plotter. Palpatine the puller of strings. Palpatine the illusion hidden in plain sight and hidden in the shadows. And we also get to see how powerful Darth Sidious is. He is a skilled warrior. He can hold his own against Mace Windu and Yoda. And he has this ferocious animal like way that he fights. It's like he can taste it somehow how. He enjoys it. It's also wild and full of rage. Yet he still has skill and technique when he fights.

And let's not forget how jolly Darth Sidious is. He love to laugh and he laughs a lot. And he can turn his personality on a dime from rage to laughter. From laughter to the cold seriousness of death.

And there are times we see Darth Sidious have fear. We never see that from the Jedi. They get scared at moments but always steal themselves against it. There are goofy moments for Palpatine that somehow add to his menace. Like being tossed over a desk by Yoda. Or thinking he's about to be over powered by Yoda. We see his fear in those moments. But somehow it's not weakness. He's scared in the moment but second later he's back on the murderous attack.

    That's my answer.

    You forgot The Senate

I would say Palpatine is most menacing as he terrified me as a kid in Revenge of the Sith and Return of the Jedi

Oh yeah. He manipulated the government of the galaxy to the end of the Sith out in the open with no one being the wiser. He set up a new Sith Empire with the help and support of the unwitting Jedi. His plans were hidden in the shadows and in plain sight.

Which villain is the most menacing?
Personally, it's Palpatine. Most of the other villains (at least in the films) have an emotional backstory and clear motives, which make it much easier to empathize with the character and understand where they're going and where they're coming from. Palpatine is a lot less straightforward in his desire for unlimited power, and the fact that it's hard to pinpoint exactly why he does what he does from a more emotional, psychological standpoint makes it personally more menacing.

I haven't read any of the Palpatine books though so maybe they explain his motives more and I just don't know ;)

It's hard to consider Vader as the most menacing once you have watched Anakin grow up from a nine yr old kid. I would say OT Vader, and PT Palpatine/Sidious.

I mean Vader killed people by thinking of killing them, that is pretty menacing. And Palps, what's not menacing about him, the very fact that every thought that goes through his mind is how to have and keep the most power in the Galaxy, and succeed at it for years!
