At one point Darth Traya and Bane were to get mentioned. In this season.

In the same way that Luke 'fought' Vader in the dark side cave on Degobah ... I wonder if Osha might fight Sol while wearing the helmet.

She sees the flashback. The truth this time. And then sees herself alone with Sol. He tries to apologize, or maybe even says something kind of antagonizing. Osha looses it and starts attacking him. But Sol over powers her.

Suddenly ... we're in Qimirs hideout again and the helmet is the floor. Qimir looks at her ... "you're gonna need a lot more training".

With 2 episodes left, you will be lucky. Although if she is already training from the sith guy by episode 7, that's quick. especially since episode 8 is when things need to pay off.

Presumably a lot of time in episode 7 will be on flashbacks since we know there is likely more to come. And the use of 30 minutes or less for each episode goes fairly quick. Leaving storytelling with not as many directions.

Real training probably comes next season. This season might just be about accepting the call to the dark side.

The last shot of the show is a close up of Osha as she says: "It's Acolytin' time." Cut to credits.

    I gave this a 9/10.

This was a pretty simple, straight-forward episode, but very good.

It was interesting to see Osha in this new environment. I expected her and Qimir would be antagonistic, so I didn't see that end coming, putting on his helmet. I was saying don't do it, so now we have a real question does she go to the dark side. I can't really predict what'll happen. I think whatever it is it'll happen quickly.

I'm glad it didn't take Sol forever to discover Mae. This show has pretty good about not dragging things out. I don't like when shows unnecessarily drag out things for dramatic effect.

I was glad to see Venestra somewhat in action, and more importantly to see Jecki and Yord's bodies taken. That bothered me that they were abandoned.

The ol’ mid-season twin flip. Master Vos is evil! Pulled a Kylo on Mae.

Anytime in Star Wars someone does something, the star wars fandom then adopts that as what is usually done. Mandalorians are usually bounty hunters, Bith are usually musicians, Gamorians are usually enforcers, Jedi Knights usually grow their hairlong after getting rid of their padawan braids, lightwhips are usually countered by shoto secondary lightsabers. All these "usually" statements are based on sample sizes of one or two.

Granted, but if Luke really did use a shoto against a lightwhip I don’t think vernestra and quimir having the same weapons is just a coincidence.

I agree there could've been more sprinkled into previous episodes (certainly in 5, maybe brief moments for Sol like what Osha experienced during her EVA). And I think this speaks to the main issue I have at this point. With more investment in the characters (and/or more characters in whom to be invested), there'd be less reliance on plot points, especially those that are still shrouded. As it stands, the way this episode plays out feels just functional.

Honestly I’m just really into this show, lol. I’ve enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. I’m really hoping that someone makes a full on “feature film” style edit of connecting the episodes as one long piece. I think that could be a really good viewing experience.

As far as this episode… yeah, I enjoyed it a ton. Qimir is becoming a new favorite. Manny Jacinto is just so good here. I love the way he’s presenting the character. I’ve really just enjoyed almost all the performances.
