Osha's fall was really devastating. Her anger at Sol, I can understand - but when she accepted Qimir's offer to eat his skura soup...

They really do enjoy shoving Anthony Daniels into things, don't they

 

Actually, they all just ... lost the will to live.

 

Senator Rayencourt's apartment is gorgeous, Sith money helps to afford it.

 

The reveal of Osha and Mae’s triplet sister Moesha was quite the shocker.

 

Can't wait for the episode to start with Sol telling Mae, "...and that's the secret that I've been keeping this whole time" and then it's never brought up again. Hahaha!!!!

 

Prediction: Sol is going to look really bad after tonight's episode.

It was Agatha all along.

 

A really cool ending for this series would be visiting deep underneath the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and finding that ancient hidden Sith shrine, that supposedly exists there.

My daughter made a great suggestion that Sol and the Jedi might have killed the witches in the thought that they were actually saving Osha and Mae, when they were either tricked in doing so or overreacted… perhaps due to one of the witches (Koril) started a rebellion to prevent the children from leaving and starting the fight, and they may have tried to cover it up and brainwash the children to forget what actually happened to spare them the pain

 

Here's my view -- the Jedi don't need to be tricked into killing the witches. They only need to learn one thing: that the witches are using the darkside to create life.

That one thing alone will justify them taking the children and destroying the Coven.

So that's what I expect to see tonight.

It'll be interesting who knows that they were created via the dark side.

Do the twins know? I'm not so sure. They know that they're special...but created by dark side and Sith ... that seems like something the mothers kept between themselves.

While I'm sure the Jedi will suspect the dark side is there, because of the Coven, it's another thing whether or not they'll know about the twins exact creation. That doesn't seem like anything Present Day Sol, or any of the Jedi seem aware of. It doesn't even seem like something future PT Jedi are aware that the Sith can do, even if they were back. Although considering that Sol believes Mae is dead, and they have Osha, it doesn't really matter anymore. Or...maybe knowing that she's a dark side creation, leaves Sol feeling like the only way to 'save her' is to mind-wipe her.

It's possible that the entire flash back was fiction, so it's hard to tell right now.

I do suspect that Qimir knows something though.

 

Yeah, it's a good point -- how would the Jedi learn that the children were created by the darkside?

Well, they already have a huge hint that the twins were created unnaturally. If you recall, Mother Aniseya tells them that they have no father. So I bet that sets alarm bells off in the Jedi's minds, especially since they are aware this is a darkside coven.

So all the would need to do is read the minds of the witches to learn more. In fact, they may have started doing this when they tested the girls.

So yeah, I don't think it would be that hard for them to learn how the girls were created.

The showrunner claimed they won't explain how they were created and wanted to leave it vague.

Which makes me wonder if how they were created even matters at all.

 

Very possible. Of course, they they knew that they were created this way, then that means they should/could know that the Sith were helping them. if that's the case, I would have hard time believing that they wouldn't tell the Order that a bunch of Thread-witches, in league with the Sith, were creating Force Twins, and then training them in the dark arts. That definitely seems like a "call the boss" moment. Even if, they were way outside their jurisdiction, or on shaky legal grounds, or that their direct actions led to the all witches dying, I would almost bet that the Order would consider it all a necessary action to take all things considered.

The exact way they were created not meaning much, is far different than why they were created, or what that leads to in the present moment.

 

They were probably created because a society of only women wanted children and used unnaturally means to get there. Is that incredibly exciting of a reason? No. But it might end up being that basic.

And the Jedi came and put a stop to it. They don't really need to get into details really.

 

A bunch of witches are in league with the Sith and creating dark sider twins. The How may not be important at all. But that doesn't mean the present day fall out from that are also unimportant.

It's amazing how you think 30+ witches dying, due to some involvement of the Jedi, all because they find out they're creating dark sider twins is ... soft and unexciting to you.

 

The Jedi killed the witches because they wanted their secret spice cream receipt.
