Wanderguard is still president... except I believe he should not leave his position ever... unless he resigns... I do not think we need to have a new president every few months... the senator thing sounds like a good idea... but this will get really confusing and unorganized if we institute new leadership every few months... I trust your (wanderguard) judgement to lead this thread wanderguard well inot the future, if someone disagrees they can go form their own club!

 

I have to agree with dragonsith on this. Like he said, rotating presidents would be just too confusing for people to get used to. Particularly new members. And a little bit of stability is good for a club. and the rotating of senators is a good idea too. It will keep perspectives fresh on the issues.

I'm not so sure I agree (especially after going to the trouble of typing that rousing nomination speech). This was Darth_wanderguard's idea, after all. Perhaps we could extend the term of office. And besides, Darth_wanderguard will always retain the position of Founder, and thus will continue to have influence and be looked up to.

Exactly! That is why it is important for the President. The EUC Senate is the arena of the Senator, and his/her power cannot be wielded as effectively here in the actual thread.

 

Though an Adheasive grenade is very sticky it had little effect on me. EmperorSorridom wasn't aware I left the thread to take a shower. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. Either way I'd just untie my shoes and attack him barefoot!

But instead I apologize for my post that helped start those rather amusing events. I vote for things to go back to how they were: Wanderguard as president, Dragonsith as Fleet Admiral and all of the positions he made.

However, Dragonsith13 has brought up the idea that multiple people can hold the same position. I don't like that so much. However you should be able to challenge the person in the Rank above you through some means of strategim. An online game of some sort.
I'd also like to bring up Winged Jedi's final post:

As far as I know President Darth wanderguard has assumed this role as well as his own right hand.

BOOSTERERANT, can you repost the roster and try to include members of the Army and Navy as well as available positions. Don't worry, as long as you get a rough draft down I'll try to help.

Due to Sorridom's continued attempts at mutiny, I am ordering HIM to rebuild my cruiser. We'll also be scratching the prestige idea, and just stay as a regular fan club. Not everyone has to join the military aspect of the club, but you can if you want.

 

By me saying that wanderguard stays as president I mean that HE founded the club and should always have final say in what happens to HIS creation... that does not mean that we cannot rotate who leads or is the head of this thread... it just meand wanderguard has the final say in things... no matter what!

And Valacar by having multiple ranks I meant in the instance that Revan has many large warships in his fleet so having maybe 5 captains all in command of a large cruiser... which I think would allow for more organization... from which they answer to a single vice admiral and so on...

this is only applicable to certain ranks...

Very true. Hence why I didn't particularly want to be Grand Admiral or whatever it is. As a Captain I get to make up my own ship!

I have an idea. A little while ago some people posted pictures of their Revan... can we all do that? We can put faces to names, sort of. I'll get one of mine soon...

 

I agree with Jayd. Thanks for nixing the prestige point system. It's a great idea but I think it could get pretty unweildy after a while.

Jayd-- I'd love to post a pic of my Revan. Unfortunately I don't play KOTOR on my PC. I wouldn't have any way to do a screen capture. But I would still like to see everyone else's Revans

Actually, I'm Revan's personal Jedi guard. In fact, all the orders I give are straight from the almighty. He talks to me.

So in a way, he's the leader of our group, and I only carry out his will.

Man, I knew there'd be some bad news here the moment I saw the number of posts was 666. Is it so wrong for one to be too ambitious for one's own good? Oh, well. Captain Jayd! Have the fleet launch tugs to round up all salvageable pieces of the Ragnarok. When this is done, transport the pieces to our shipyard facilities for reconstruction.

Don't worry Darth_wanderguard, even though I'll have nothing to do with the rebuilding of your ship, I will still take full responsibility for it. (Unless something goes terribly wrong.)
