I really hope we get Ahsoka as a playable hero in the new Battlefront 2.

 

Ahsoka is the one character I most would love to see make the transition from cartoon to live action movie. It's just too bad the timeline for that doesn't lend it's self to her still being alive during the ST. She would at best be nearing the end of her expected life span if she survived the OT times at all.

 

They are the Skywalker twins.

I agree, she could live well into the ST, so I hope she encounters Luke at some point in the timeline. Perhaps Luke could bring her back into the fold - I'd love to see her on a restored Jedi Council, assuming Luke survives the ST and the Order is rebuilt...

I wouldn't put too much faith in those exact Legends lifespans as far as anything current canon is doing, especially as most of them came from WotC tabletop RPG books and not stories of any kind. A TCW comic already implied the show was throwing out the tabletop RPG book lifespan for Kel Dor (from roughly human to several centuries).

But yeah, looking at how Ahsoka has aged over the course of her life Togruta lifespan is probably just human lifespan as far as Filoni cares. Unless he's going to decide they age at the human rate until they're 30 and then live for 500 years so he can keep writing her.

 

Considering there's still that huge gap between the end of TCW and the beginning of Rebels, he doesn't have to concern himself with the age factor at all.

 

No matter how much I despise the idea of this ever happening. It is adorable!

Yeah I saw that on Dave's FB page. I like the interpretation of Ahsoka being changed emotionally.

 

That's not my interpretation. My interpretation was that her body would die but her spirit would survive somehow. He said, flat-out, "I mean death." Death is death, period. But his response to her question is more ambiguous. So, Ahsoka's dead–physically.

 

I hope that is the case, I like her, it would be nice to see her in 8 or 9.

But it's frustrating having Filoni post stuff that didn't show up in any of the episodes of Rebels. Perhaps he is teasing that she may show up in Season 4? Seems to me if she were dead for reals, there would be no reason to troll the fanbase.

 

She should show up alive in well in season 4.........................................
