I have a small Strawberry Hemangioma that has formed on my arm about 6 months ago, about 1mm in size. It stings on contact, but a GP said it was nothing to worry about. Is he right?

Yes he's correct. "http://parenting.ivillage.com/baby/bhealth/0,,3q7l,00.html?arrivalSA=1&cobrandRef=0&arrival_freqCap=1&pba=adid=14390830" <- This site has an in-depth explanation about them.

Why do people have emotions and feelings?

Short version: Emotions are the product of chemical reactions (occur when hormones are released), which are triggered by thoughts, be they conscious or unconscious.

    Why do we have emotions?

Without emotions, we are merely a machine, abeit electro-chemical in nature. I won't go too in-depth into this (it can become quite offensive to some people), but emotions are part of what makes us human.

Yes I get lonely too. Actually, not any more. I have my imaginary friends now. I can have imaginery conversations with them. Then I am not so lonely. Is this healthy?

It sounds more like in-depth conversation with one's subconcious. Either way you could have your sanity questioned by people unaware of your situation. :p

I have a question - why is political advertising exempt from the truth in advertising law?

Because politics and truth are complete opposites. They cannot exist together. (period).

Political advertising is usually referred to as propaganda. It does nothng but create a very biased view on a certain subject. It's exempt from the truth in advertising law as it's doesn't actually advertise a product or service as stated in the Law.

    Dear milney,

This is probably more of a trivia question than anything else, but I was involved in a particularily heightened argument last night with some friends about whether many director/writers (the one we were talking about was Joss Weadon) reuse the same actors (obviously their favourites) in different series. One side of the arguement (the one I wasn't on) was that only Weadon does this (many of the minor characters from 'Buffy' and 'Angel' were stars in 'Firefly'). I have a hazy idea that JJ Abrahms used some people from 'Felicity' in 'Alias', but that's where my ability to argue ended.

I thought it would be a challange for you to find other writer/directors/producers etc who have used the same actor from one series to play different characters on other unrelated series. ;) Special guests don't count however!

    Thanks... :)

Abrahms used some actors in Felecity/Alias and most recently Lost.

I don't see anything wrong with it, if the actors are good.

Ah...well, James Cameron uses the same actors for several of his films. Lance Henrickson, for one ('Aliens' and 'Terminator 2'), Arnie ('Terminator', 'Terminator 2', 'Predator',), and Michael Beihn ('Aliens', 'Terminator').

But yes...I'm sure there are more. :)

It's extremely common for directors to re-use their favourite actors over and over again.

One example from the top of my head: Christopher Lloyd. Robert emekis used him in 'Back to the Future' and 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?'

The reason for this comes from the fact that directors like using actors they are familiar with and also one's that they know can work professionally.

Seeing as it's a trivia question you're not going to get any better answer from me unfortunately. (But that won't stop me from looking this up)

And the reason Whedon used the FireFly actors in his (IMO) crappier shows was to keep them working and keep them in contact in the hopes of getting FireFly off the ground again.

I figured as much, Magi (even though our opinions of the other shows are different). I liked the actors a lot more in Firefly than I ever did in the others.

It was purely a arguement of one person havinga good memory for actors over someone who doesn't like to think they're wrong. I brought up the examples that you guys gave me and I am still... "wrong"

I think this is one arguement I am destined to give up through frustration...or make my opponent watch all said examples :p

A big question here, one I have no been able to find any answers to or any places to find answers to!

My friend and I are driving up to Byron Bay in June (with a small stop over in Sydney...Thats a warning people :p) but we have no idea on how long it will take us to drive from Melbourne, nor where the most likely stopover points will be!

Can you find this one out? Anyone?

    Approximately 20 hours driving time.

Will (unleaded) fuel hit $1.50/Ltr this year?

If the oil companies keep increasing their prices due to 'the cost of crude oil' probrably.

I would like to point out that Crude oil is cheaper now than it was this time last year.

PulsarSkate, try using WhereIs. Also, the RACQ (Royal Automotive Club of Queensland - the Qld RACV/NRMA) has an awesome trip planner.

They have an "advanced" mode, so you can say "via Sydney and Newcastle" and it will take that into consideration. I did so (Assuming you leave from Melbourne CBD and stop in Sydney CBD), and it says: 20.32 hours, only 1/2 an hour more than Milney said.
"Turn left here, take that exit etc etc" are all given.
