It's stinking cold outside. There goes my good walking days. Oh well, it was good while it lasted...

Coffee, COFFEE!!!!, My coffee pot just died. Mr. Coffee just gave up and died. This is a serious tragedy. I may not survive...

Hey, Police. I hope you feel better, and I say "sucks" all the time too, such as what the Psych midterm I'm taking in 2 1/2 hours does. I just hope I remember the cotton-pickin' stuff, but I'm hopeful. I finally finished those ---- flash cards before settling into bed (finally hit the pillow around 4:30am). Well, better get back on them. After this (ahem!) wonderful test today, I have another (cough!) wonderful test in History I'm copying all my notes for in hopes to retain enough of that stuff, especially the Spanish-American War and the Alabama Claims. Oh, and Police, Folgers Instant coffee doesn't taste too bad; at least not to me until you can replace what you need to. But I wouldn't get the Great Value kind. The only "Great Value" about that stuff is that it does what it nees to. I'm just finishing mine up for the caffeine, since I take my coffee with loads of cream and at least that makes it tolerable. Just a tip to consider. Catch y'all after my midterm!

You're not going to believe this ... my psych instructor took "sucks" to a whole new level! Before he gave the tests out, "Fuzzy" told us "...when you were born, you learned to suck to survive..." and something to the effect of being more relaxed during the test, as he passed around a couple bags of throat drops. Just couldn't resist a snap shot...

Today I discovered that my professors are interesting folks.
See, I go to Harry Potter at midnight. Destroy another deer that decides that the interstate is his personal playground (this is my second deer this season, I am near my limit ) So, anyway, I lay down for like an hour and a half...then I drag myself out of bed, , drag myself to campus...only to be met with the information (strategically taped to every door of the history department... , that there are interdepartmental meetings today and no class. No 8, 9,or 10 o'clock classes...So, I have returned to the ole homestead and decided to go and take a chemo treatment.... So, if I'm absent the rest of the day.... you know why.

It's finally Friday...Happy Hour drinks are on the house...

Speaking of 'sleep' What's that? Didn't get any...but because of my neck and shoulders spasming out of control my boss has allowed me to work 1/2 day...so after 11am I will not be 'catchable' until after 9pm tonight. Gonna have to take a few muscle relaxers and hit the hay.

I'll take a dew prior to leaving though I have 45 mins before I leave!

Hope the chemo goes ok... I know how it runs ya down. Take care and do try and avoid those deer. But then again...sometimes they juz jump out of nowhere.

 

Thanks, Kyn! Police, hey sorry about all that. You're in my thoughts and prayers. As for me, I'm trying to take it easy (and ordering more mint mochas since mint is supposed to be good for us if we're not feeling good). I'm also calling my mother and sending her a tip for a Christmas present: a nice teapot so I can keep hot water at my fingertips for hot tea or chicken broth. Not that I'm concerned about getting stuff; just that my mother sometimes complains that she doesn't know what to give me, and try telling yours, "oh, don't bother giving me anything". I'm certainly doing my own share of shopping (which I'll do more of next month, compliments of my current financial standing), so please don't get me wrong. I'm just wanting to send good ole ma' a tip on something I can use so she has some direction. Anyway, see ya later.

I'll find out if mine did or not when I get this evening's history test score (although the Thanksgiving dinner I went to immediately after I took the test was quite nice). We've all been given this Wednesday off, so I probably won't find out till next Monday. So help me till then...(or after?)

You know, I am just sitting here (in class) and I am completely bored out of my mind...
So, figured I'd pop over to the old cantina and see whats up?

(I'm going to fly to New York on Wed eve, catch the Macy's parade with my friend Dan, (He's an assistant director on Broadway and so I get to sit in the box where the acts stop for the TV coverage with him...) and then I'll be back Thursday night...(flying in with Dan who's coming home for the Holiday)

So, in case I don't pop in here, which is highly unlikely since the airport is wireless as are most of the places I go in New York..

Yes, New York, to see my boyfriend from the third grade...Just kidding, well not about the boyfriend from the third grade part, but about still being that...Dan is a very close friend of mine from High School.

So, me, the one who hates flying almost as much as Obi Wan is getting on yet another plane to travel during the holidays...I'm flying there on my with my Uncle on a private plane so it's not so bad...

Count_Santa, no prob here. Just an idea I was kicking around. I can understand your concern. At any rate, I am truly looking forward to seeing all who are attending this Friday. Don't mind me; I don't know what others will go for unless I ask. Well, stay warm all. Keep that hot water on the stove as much as possible.

Well, I have made it to my friends place in New York.
It's cold here, like 35...Little bit of snow...
They've blown up the baloons (well, some of them) and we can see them from Dan's windows...
The weather man said there is a chance for rain here...
I hope not.

I may be all Familied out by Monday. Have had dinner with my family every night this week from last Sunday through tomorrow. I love it, but I am about full up.

 

Hey everybody, wish I could have went with you guys last Fri. but I had to work, just like the last 16 Black Fridays, I think that calls for a margarita(a big one). Oh well that's retail for ya. I did get a little shopping done today, only have a few more things to get. Well I gotta go check on TK9468, gotta keep him out of trouble. See ya.
