Yeah, but when you get into the timeline, it really becomes convoluted. Clone Force 99 themselves are clearly younger than the other clones, they are not from the first batch. Omega herself was old enough to have conscious memories of being there in Nala Se's lab when they were created, according to S1 finale. So she should be at least 4 or 5 years older than them. Clone Force 99 themselves should be at least 10, since clones are combat ready and deployed at chronological age of 10 and given their accelerated aging, they are biologically at least 20. So Omega should be 14-15, but she really doesn't look like it. She kinda, somewhat looks like Boba Fett looked in S2 of TCW, when he pretended to be a clone cadet. That was the first year of the war, so he was like 11. But you know, he looks completely different two years later when see him again: he is taller and clearly hit puberty. He was like 13 when we see him bounty hunting in late Clone Wars. Omega is clearly a prepubescent child.
Like it seems they just made her look deliberately younger and childlike to evoke more empathy from the audience, but better not to think about all the timeline implications. And given that we still don't have official data on her date of birth, it makes me think they still haven't figured it out exactly. Surprising that there is still no Bad Batch Visual Guide book, or something like that.

As for Wrecker's height, he was deliberately modified to be bigger and stronger. He is still the same age as the rest of the CF99.

This was my favourite episode of the four we've had thusfar. Pretty flawless Star Wars from start to finish. :)

Girl cannot catch a break. Something I have been enjoying this year when I rewatch the episodes is really paying attention to the characters faces. She’s a lot more frowny obviously. I think my favorite shot of her is when she’s about to pilot the cargo ship for the first time and it just gave me flashbacks to her learning to fly with Tech.

I quite liked that they left the episode on that emotional cliffhanger.

Unaltered like Boba, yet with a different kind of enhancement (seemingly her M-count, which probably means she's potentially Force sensitive if that M stands for what people think it does since it's tied to Project Necromancer)

Although since that lasts into the Mandalorian period, methinks it's not going to go the way Hemlock or Sidious want it to

Yeah this whole Necromancer angle is really fascinating to me to be quite honest. They are testing all the clones, which suggests to me that there is the possibility of other clones besides Omega that may have this M Count that they are looking for. Obviously Crosshair doesn't seem to have it, but I do wonder if Hunter of Wrecker could have it.

Another thing that I am curious about is where/whom did they get the DNA from to give Omega the M count? The obvious answer is Palpatine, but possibly took another Jedi's DNA and combined that along with Jango's?

Have we ever taken into account the fact that she may be a "special project" that ages SLOWER than normal instead of quicker? Giving her more time to fully develop and enhance her cognitive abilities and maybe allowing the developement of other abilities as well?
I mean that would also open up great possibilities to include her in the continuation of the franchise and future movies if she survives?

Eh I doubt it. If Omega is to appear in anything live action it will be a future Mando thing. And if she is played by anyone it will be by Hughes (voice actress of Emerie Karr) cause she is Māori and also cause she was nominated for best actress by the academy awards. And she’s like 34. While Omega would be in her early 40s by the time of 9 ABY a 34 year old playing a 42 year old isn’t the worst gap in Star Wars.

    so she probably ages normally.

Not bad! I liked the port town. And that’s a different kind of Imperial creep we don’t often see. Corrupt colonial officer type.

But I’m starting to get annoyed with every other planet having those spiky rock formations all pointing in the same direction.

I wonder sometimes if Disney's SW series are just to justify resurrecting Palpatine.

I wouldn’t be that shocked if the bad batch was always going to tie into that. TROS’s palpatine returns was 2018 and the bad batch probably didn’t start active development until 2019

The series, and comics as well. I'm not crazy about how much time goes into trying to make sense of Palpatines return, but it is what it is.

Its better they explain it and makes it to m intresting story then dont bother to do anything with it. I woundt be surprised if we see Palpatine in New Republic era.

    I gave this a 10/10.

I really liked seeing Omega and Crosshair here, because past all the bluster he does have a heart and I like how that was shown despite reluctantly. The adventure was good, it was a good story and I liked seeing her at whatever that game was. Now, the end, that was so touching, esp. with Hunter. It was just so sweet seeing them reunited. I didn't expect it'd be this early but am glad it is.

Yeah. Can’t believe they stuck another tentacle monster in there though. It’s almost like they can’t help themselves.

At least it wasn’t a large focus of the episode. I am fine with monsters just so long as they don’t take up more than like 2 minutes. Mando has drained any like I have had for the monster of the week trope

Me too. Though if they do it, I prefer that they are just slightly more creative. The laziness of throwing in more tentacles bothers me.

Even though episode 2 was a monster of the week episode at the very least it was mutated vines. And not just tentacles. Sure it’s like a 6 on uniqueness, but that’s better than it just being tentacles

I don't know. I prefer meat tentacles to vine tentacles. But I'm not a vegetarian.
