Ho. Lee. Dark. Batman!

Very good episode -- Batch-less episodes always deliver.

Wide shots of Tantiss are so breathtaking every time, and knowing more of what's gone on there just makes "Tantiss" one of those words that's whispered, with an immediate spine chill.

Cad Bane is such a bad, bad man, and just plain stone cold. Love seeing him!

What's Hemlock working on, I wonder? Seems almost like a proto- Dark Trooper. Given the Necromancer connections to The Mandalorian, it wouldn't surprise me. And could Pershing be Hemlock's eventual direct successor...?

 

I am 99.9% sure Project necromancer is just the ability to bring palpatine back from the dead.

 

I feel like Cad Bane is way too over qualified for a simple snatch job like that.

 

Its why he is the perfect Hunter For Palpatine's number one kidnapper.

 

He's been doing it since the Clone Wars. Too bad he cant use the fake Jedi tactic anymore.

 

Really going back to his roots

 

Good to see Cad back and this episode was on par again with the first few of Tantiss.

The Empire and these "specimens" and how they are trying to raise a donor of sorts is gut wrenching! Great episode. Really looking forward to the clones breaking those kids out.

 

Was that not obvious from before?

 

I’m sorry but I absolutely loved these episodes. The writing and storytelling is just so good. I actually felt pits in my stomach with those kids being kept as lab rats; Eva wanting to go home and that toddler having the last image of his/her mother as that horrible repulsor-casket was closed over her.

Also I loved the lunar base in the beginning where Phee landed. It looked like something out of a retro 1960’s moon base concept.

And don’t get me started on that blood scanner. I love tech and a blood scanner that can give you results in seconds is incredible

 

My idea was more entertaining.

On the plus side, none of the Bad Batch was in this episode of TBB, which always makes for a better episode.

 

Wonder if during his search he killed a few Inquisitors that learned about children from other snitches.

 

Why are you sorry for liking it? It was fantastic!

 

Yeah I know that, but back in TCW it wasn’t just a simple snatch mission as he had to break into the Jedi temple, force them to open an holocron and face off against them in combat.

Where as what he did here a low tier bounty hunter could have pulled off.

It's a heartbreaking episode.

 

Good episode. But I have to remove two points for:
1) Absolutely despicable depiction of Scorch. It's clear that he is here for Republic Commando fan service, but this kind of fan service honestly baffles me. Such a depiction of the character surely will not serve his fans, and we are nearing the finale, and there are no answers to justify it, other than me having to come up with a bunch of theories and headcanon, essentially doing the work for the writers. Just use a generic commando or use Fixer, who actually has the character and fits for this specific job. All the writers had to do was look into the Visual Dictionary to at least have a clue of the characters' basic characterization.

Gee, I wonder, which one would fit more as the commander at Tantiss and Hemlock's personal henchman.
