The best irony in this post is that people actually think the iCloud is a safe space to store things

Honestly, I wouldn't trust any cloud service with data that important. But any data administrator can tell you how important it is to store a copy of your data offsite specifically to prevent a scenario like this from happening.

I loved it! Great way to end the show! I would love to see more live action and cartoon spinoffs revolving around Omega!

Maybe he tried to back it up but the important stuff was at the bottom and it was all truncated. :p

Whoops. Let me fix this post... I was playing around with a keyboard I just built and sent a post of gobbly-gook.

This episode however was not gobbly-gook. I liked the happy ending which is a nice contrast to the "Victory and Death" that ends The Clone Wars. I was on the edge of my seat though most of the episode whenever Omega was not on screen. I knew she would get out fine but everyone else was fair game.

I can't get mad at The Bad Batch for being different from what I imagined it was going to be and I can't get mad this episode didn't conform to my prediction. It's just a wrap for The Bad Batch. Its not the end for Rex, Project Necromancer, or Omega. It's not even a definite end for Crosshair, Hunter, Wrecker, and Echo for any powers that be who decide they have new ideas for them in the next animated series, live-action series, or in a movie. If Omega is out there being a Rebel Pilot it may be some Imperial who spots her and realizes who she is that restarts Project Necromancer years later.

I wonder if Wrecker and Crosshair's absence in the epilogue-ish scene was an homage to the deleted The Bad Batch nose art being in Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor's hideout in Rebels. Echo was a total MVP in this episode and I also loved when Wrecker got back up and battled with every bit of strength he had. Omega hugging Crosshair and then Hunter together made my eyes a little wet. I wish Hunter had gotten more development but I thought the scene in the cave was a fitting ending to the Hunter introduced in TCW season 7.

Thank you to The Bad Batch's team for one more great animated series. Hope to see you again on another one soon.

Thought it was a real good and satisfying finale. Really enjoyed the whole series and will miss getting new episodes, though I'm also glad the show didn't go on for too long.

Satisfying finale overall. My major complaint is that I was wrong and that Omega didn't get to ride the Zillo beast. And I was kind of hoping for more Zillo beast rampage.

Kind of strange it's implied that Project Necromancer ended here even though we know it'll eventually be successful. If Tarkin had said at the end, "Oh well, let's get the iCloud backup" not much would be different. Ah well.

I'm also kind of disappointed Omega didn't get to meet Boba Fett. I hope there'll be a greater role for her in Star Wars-to-come.

Freaking perfect. I absolutely loved it. I was happy
no more of our heroes died. It can be dramatic, but we’ve already lost Tech, and Crosshair’s redemption was way more satisfying for me.

And that epilogue…I might have been choked up a bit.

Well done to the Bad Batch crew. You took a show that I thought was initially just okay and turned it into something I was really invested in. This may be the end, but I’m hoping we see the
    further adventures of Omega
in either an animated or live action form.

The Book of Boba Fett season 2 sounds like a better read if we can have a touch of The Bad Batch in it.

    Pros

+ I’m glad Nala Se’s and Rampart’s ending stayed true to their characters.

+ The new variations of Shadow Troopers were cool and made for fun fight scenes.

+ It was fun to see Rampart and Hemlock interact.

+ We get a happy ending for a Zilo Beast

+ There wasn’t a cliched death where one of the squad dies on their own terms.

    Cons

    - The overly happy ending did feel rather forced

    - It’s hard to believe that big brains like Hemlock and Palpatine wouldn’t have backed up the project necromancer data given it’s crucial importance

    - They gave Scorch a rubbish death, they didn’t really need to kill him off, but they could have at least made him put up a good fight before biting the dust.

    - It didn’t make a lot of sense that the Batch lived happily ever after on Pabu since the Empire knew about the planet and its connection to the Batch and given the destruction they caused on Mount Tantis, it makes no sense that Palpatine wouldn’t want to make an example out of them, since not retaliating only gives out the message that it’s fine to Rebel against the Empire.

Anyway I’ll be glad to have a break from clones in the meantime since I personally have always found them to be better in smaller doses.

Tarkin had more important things (Stardust / Death Star) to worry about than chasing down Omega and Friends on Pabu. As long as they didn't stir anything up, they weren't a threat to Tarkin's goals. All the attention and resources devoted to chasing them around all that time were just wasteful in his mind. Let them go and focus on the bigger picture. If they start up trouble again, just use the Death Star on Pabu when it is ready. The rest of the Empire - with the exception of the Emperor himself and maybe a few others - knew nothing about Tantiss and what was going on there.

    Beatin' to it!

Is the data from Project Necromancer even or is the backup buried so deep that only Palpatine knows where it is? From what I can tell only Palpatine, Hemlock, Nala, and Emarie knew what it was. Tarkin has no idea and typical for the Imperial Officers was quick to jump on the opportunity to fund his own path to achievement. I'm not convinced the data is lost and Palpatine is a man who can play the long game. He knows the key is alive. If Omega goes back out there years later as a pilot in the Rebellion she won't stay under his radar. He'll be ready to make that certain pilot vanish.

We (my family and I watching) were on edge about if they picked up Wrecker before leaving Tantiss or not for a few minutes. Omega, Crosshair, and Hunter run off the platform and then it skipped to the ship taking off for the next scene. We were worried that Wrecker was still trapped there for a while until he finally walked up on Pabu. So they obviously grabbed him off screen, but that part was a little confusing for a few minutes.

I was kind of hoping Ventress would have shown up in some capacity just to extend that connection, but it's quite alright that she didn't.

I would think Rex is older, at least based on Omega pointing out (in Season 1) that Rex is a Gen 1.

I was confused about him, too (along with Echo and the other clones).

I enjoyed it. Was it perfect? No, not by a long shot but I still enjoyed it very much. I continue to be a Rampart fan with his actions in this finale, and Nala Se taking him out was bad-ass and the best part of the ep IMO. Cross-hair losing his shooting hand reminded me of Jamie Lannister losing his sword hand except they didn't have time to explore the repercussions to that and besides, in the GFFA losing a limb is more of an inconvenience anyway as you can just get a replacement. Hemlocks death was ok. If Project Necromancer is about ensuring the Emperor's immortality then why does Tarkin have the authority to divert it's funds to Project Stardust? That didn't make sense to me. Really glad they resisted the urge to do a Force-sensitive Omega possibly going off with Ventress and made her a rebellion pilot instead. Maybe she'll cross paths with Hera some day. All-in-all an above average and enjoyable finale. 7/10

I was more than happy with this as a finale. It had so much great action, from the Zillo rampage to the infiltration and the desperate duels against Clone Force X. I got real worried for the OG Batch at times, but I'm glad they got the happy ending they deserved. I definitely hope this isn't the last we see of Omega, even if it takes a whole five years lol.

would have been neater to see a Victory Class Destroyer instead of the Imperial-1. Still waiting to see that in a live action, video game or animated medium.
