These first two episodes were a straight snoozefest

 

i was about to disagree but the word “unheadcanonable” unequivocally changed my mind.

It sounds like Riyo Chuchi is going to show up

 

The actual technical terminology is either pounds per square inch or kilopacals, but yeah it would be typical Tech to know exact how much pressure it takes to break a bone.

 

Also, in the SW universe, Omega is an “unaltered” clone of Jango Fett

Speaking of Omega, I have to say I still love Michelle Ang’s voice acting. She’s pretty awesome.

 

So the first two episodes of this season were okay. Maybe I had my hopes way to high for the premiere. But I didn't hate it. I will say I'm starting to like Omega more and more.

 

Next week, things will get to the good stuff judging by two characters that will be in the next episode.

 

Oh goodie. Can't wait!!

 

I think you might have an idea as to who those two characters are, and their names start with the letter "C."

 

I’ve never watched any of the Star Wars films or TG shows from space so I wouldn’t know.

 

A picture got released that looked like Echo might leave The Bad Batch.

 

However, it can easily be co opted for a solid yo mom joke

 

With Admiral Rampart, Moff Tarkin and Empreror Palpatine all in this season of The Bad Batch and probaly future seasons, we got three main villians for the clones who wants them all faced out, and will push them to the limits. Emperor Palpatine vs Bail in the senate and his cloning prjects, Admiral Rampart on personell hunt for the Bad Batch to keep position, Moff Tarkin as head of the military and will be the one phasing the clones out. Rampart vs Tarkin ? we are off to a good start in this new Imperial era.

 

This show is such a waste of resources

Hopefully the quality of the show dramatically improves next week. This felt phoned in.

idk I was half asleep when I watched them and it kept me awake.

Going by the reviews for the first 14 episodes of this season, it sounds like Episode 3 is really good, but then 4,5,6 are a slog before 7 and 8 save it again.

I can only hope if this gets future seasons they pull a Rebels and reduce the episode count and get leaner with their storytelling.

 

Rebels had 15 episodes then 22 for two seasons. I agree i hope we get leaner storytelling and not just adventure of the week. But in this time period with clones you probably have to have adventure of the week too. We will hopefully soon get it with return og the senate and Rex/Bail and them creating Rebel factions.

 

Rebels had 15 episodes for its final season and was pretty much a consistent serialised story for the majority of it. That’s the kind of storytelling we should see more of in animation.

 

I think the same will be for Bad Batch what Rebels had for its 4 seasons, each time the story gets bigger and more consistent serialized. both seasons one of Bad Batch and Rebels had adventure of the week storytelling and you got the story with the deep lore. Rebels season 2 and little of season 3 also had adventure of the week.

I think they want all the animation shows to be a mix of between adventure of the week and and the deep cut storytelling. Bad Batch season 2 will have more of that with what's been teased at this season.

 

I don't know when episodic storytelling got such a bad name. You know what they called episodic television in my day? Television. I like serialized storytelling, too, but I wouldn't mind if we got a primarily episodic Star Wars TV show.
