I think there are stories you can tell with Omega after the show ends. What the **** is she doing for the next 20 years the empire is around? What’s she doing in the sequel trilogy what’s she doing during the mandalorian.

plenty of time for a boba Fett and Omega story. I do think it would be a wasted opportunity if they never meet once.

 

Pretty sure the show will end with Omega and surviving members of the bad batch retiring on Pabu, as S2 hinted. Although it'd be more effective if they all bit the dust, Halo: Reach style, since they never appeared in Rebels and Rex never bothered contacting them for help. And it's important to establish the Empire as a credible and deadly threat in this time period, so the heroes have to suffer heavy casualties for opposing it. But that's probably not gonna happen.

 

I think the halo reach style ending is possible minus omega. Unless there is a 7 year time jump at some point so Omega is an adult. Omega will not die.

no teenager has died on screen in Star Wars since ever. Yes there is plenty of implied child death. But you get my point

 

It's possible, but unlikely, since Filoni has a predisposition for happy endings, and it feels like Tech is the only one from the main team they were willing to kill off. If Season 2 was "The Empire Strikes Back" of TBB, then Season 3 is gonna be "Return of the Jedi", probably, so only Crosshair is likely going to die for his actions trying to save Omega and the rest of the team. But I think at least Hunter and Echo should bite it. It would explain why Rex was so depressed and went into self-imposed exile in Rebels, and it would make the Empire a deadly threat that it's supposed to be. It's all supposed to be gloom and doom until Luke Skywalker and "A New Hope." I don't see them killing Wrecker, since he is as much soul of the show as Omega, and he is the closest to her after Hunter, so he will probably make it.

Eh, I would hardly put any faith in this. It's too soon. Though, given the rumors about Skeleton Crew being postponed till Spring, maybe they will air The Bad Batch in January-February. They had the teaser trailer at SW Celebration already, and given the nature of the animated projects' pipeline, that means all the scripting and recording was done long before the strikes. Let's just hope it's not delayed 3 times like Season 2.

 

Season 2 was only delayed cause of all the dates of different live action dates.

 

Yeah and if you look closely at what she's holding, the image features Tech as part of the group and Echo is absent, making it most likely a S2 promo image and not an S3.

I think it's a trick-or-treat bag with an S2 image on it.

I think Bad Batch season 3 either comes First or between Skeleton Crew and The Acolyte.

 

I think it's even earlier than that, it's merchandise from The Clone Wars: The Final Season, because Echo isn't included.

I bet it will be Between, If SC will be at the end of Winter and Acolyte at the end of summer, then they have few months of break.

 

Mando and Bad batch overlapped. I do t see it overlapping with Sleleton crew as their core audience is the same children.

overlap with Acolyte which will probably be just as mature as Andor very possible. But then again Mando season 3 wasn’t all that mature either. Bad batch unironically was darker.

 

I think that this show will end dark like Clone Wars, rewatching season 2 again and think we will probably lose another member of the Bad Batch. My bet is on Crosshair. Rebels be the only hopeful one. I think Clone Rebellion be teased but not apart of this show. We see Saw and Cham again as they move futher down to their later appearances. Could we see death of Hera's mother?

Hey @Fredrik Vallestrand I heard Papanoida is gonna make a cameo and George Lucas is actually gonna voice him. Also I heard that Lucas directed the episode he’s in. Now post this as a legitimate rumor please.
