That's a good idea. About time there was a thread devoted to football on the JCC.

We used to have one, but it seems to have sunk a long way down. This is cool as a new one.

I nearly wet myself when I saw Walker fumble the ball into the net. Peter Enckleman's was bad enough, but this takes the biscuit.

What did Walker do? Surely it can't be worse than Enklemans.

    FT:
    Arsenal - Southampton 2-0
    Leeds - Wolverhampton 4-1
    Leicester - Bolton 1-1

Poor results personally, I lost quite a bit of money. Hopefully it'll go better tomorrow or the girl won't be pleased on Saturday. :(

"What did Walker do? Surely it can't be worse than Enklemans."
It was definatly worse than Enckleman's. It's hard to explain, but he fumbled it in goal with his feet.

Living in Middlesborough and watching Man Utd (the team I support) lose to them was quite awkward for me tonight :(

What the hell is going on with Utd's defence? They were rock solid in the early season, and now they're conceding goals like it was the 2001/2002 season.

Yeah because it was Ferguson that let the goals in and missed the chances up front. United have lost before and they will lose again, its not the end of the world. Arsenal had quite a lead last season and United still clawed that back and won the league, were you calling for Ferguson's head then too? They were 11 points behind Newcastle one season and still won that league too, did you want him sacked then? Ferguson knows what he is doing a hell of a lot better than you ever will, he is the greatest manager in the history of the game, accept it and support the guy, because thats what you are meant to be aren't you? A United supporter?

he is the greatest manager in the history of the game

    Arguable.

    My predictions:
    MU 3-1 ManC
Everyone's hyping this up to be a MU loss, usually when this happens, MU thrashes their opponent.

    Fulham 2-1 WHU
    Sunderland 0-1 Birmingham

Kick off in five minutes. Come on United!!!

    My prediction:

    Manchester United 3-1 Manchester City

I can't see us keeping a clean sheet after the way the back four have been playing lately, but we have enough firepower upfront to compensate for it.
