Reviewing my reading list today. It's a list compiled by NPR. Top 100 Sci-Fi/Fantasy books. Check out what's at #88. Don't see any other Star Wars books on there, though I could be mistaken.

Tough competition. Asimov is barely in the top 10.

I'm going to claim 25 of them. But, considering Wheel of Time is a series comprised of 15 books (I'm on book 7 currently), I'm catching up.

I don’t want to know how many I read during my teenage years.

I'm not sure how many WoT books I read, but I think you're at about the point where I gave up on the series.

That’s a long series! Was Discworld longer?

I'll probably go for the Corellian Trilogy later on. I'm presently reading Tales from Jabba's Palace for the first time in twenty years.

Im about to stage a whole reread/read of the EU.

starting with — heir to the empire.

as for that reading list — I adore Childhood’s End. Hated Watership Down.
and didn’t sleep for weeks after The Stand.

Wound up going back to the Han Solo Trilogy before I go into the Corellian Trilogy as a good six book read of the EU.

So, when's the new BMC going to be unveiled? Meantime feel free to razz me as I go through my Jedi-inspired hazing.

Well, I certainly have nothing better to do. On a "paid leave of absence" from work. I think it's because of a joke I said at work. I was walking with someone I thought was my friend. She turned to go to the restroom. I said, "hope everything comes out all right!"

Honestly, I would have laughed, end of story...........

Hey, I hope everything comes out alright after this. For all she knew, you were talking about her life.

Me at work Yesterday, yes, I work in a supermarket and yes, many people smiled! Had Santa come over from where he was meeting children and asked, 'Have you been a good girl?' I leaned on the nearby counter, tilted my head to the side and smiled, "well, you should know..."

Heartily agree. The time I meet a man who completely understands his wife, that's when I'll have seen everything.
