I've loved the deep dive into Tusken culture but THIS is the show I thought we were getting -- underworld intrigue and fun action. One isn't better than the other... but I'm glad they didn't forget the crime drama either. That said, the Tusken massacre was a beautifully tragic moment and the score really stood out in that section.

    - Black Krrsantan may become the new Boba Fett -- the mysterious, fan favorite secondary villain. Like the boxing mechanic in Raiders of the Lost Ark, BK made for a super fun "heavy." He's definitely popping up in other Disney+ series for years to come.

    - Sophie "Arden Lyn" Thatcher fit right into the SW universe, though the candy colors of those speeder-cycles felt like late '90s iMacs! Both BOBF and Mandalorian have certain elements that just feel too "modern" (e.g. the majordomo's demeanor). I did like the design of the cycles, just not the colors.

    - I love seeing FOOD in the SW universe, so I was salivating at that exotic banquet served to Boba and Fennec! Maybe Favreau will give us a Star Wars-themed episode of The Chef Show.

We aren’t done with flashbacks. Boba still has to resurrect Fennec and find the Slave 1

Alita Battle Angel and friends now working for Boba
Their Vespa speeders look ridiculous beyond belief.
A new Rancor and Danny Trejo now part of SW
I would have hired the Wookie
The speeder chase was really bad but funny. Like taken out of a comic.
    Can't wait for more.

I liked it not as much as last weeks but I quite enjoyed it! One thing I didn't like the effects in the chase were a little dodgy. But some of the chase reminded me of Back To The Future hover board scenes so that was cool! Loved that The Man In The High Castle from that great Amazon Show was in it and Danny Trejo! Glad I stayed up for this I will watch later with my mom and dad!

    That episode was so cool.

Definite pathos with the death of the Tuskens.

Also great guest starring with Stephen Root and Dany Trejo. (Latter should clued in it was a Robert Rodriguez directed episode)

I thought Black Krrsantan was going to buy it because sometimes lit originated characters can meet a terminal end when they transplant to live action but he kicked ass and then ran off to cameo another day.

Anyway Boba is gonna ride a rancor dangit!

Yeah, gonna have to join those who aren't a fan of Rodriguez' directing. Really looking forward to seeing where other directors take this story.

I was hoping Boba hires the Wookie. Imagine if Han and Chewie show up at some point I'd love to see Han's face when he sees that Boba now has his own Wookie.

The U-turn with the Hutts felt really weird. If they don't show up again I'll be a bit peeved.

Well, they don’t want to get their hands dirty, so probably using Fett as a battering ram against the Pykes so they can just come in afterwards

I would be VERY surprised if the Hutts were being truthful and actually depart the planet. They didn't show up all fancy words and entrances, and then try to kill Boba, just to leave because the Mayor has sided with the Pykes.

For those of you that say that the Pykes hired the gang bikers, I wouldn't be so sure. Not that it's out of the question, but here's the thing.

EDIT: Never mind I was thinking of the Klatooinians, not the Nikto

It's weird seeing so colorful bikes on Tatooine + that chase was a bit off.. I don't know.. maybe because those bikes were not riding smoothly, or it looked like it was supposed to be quicker but it was slow? I dunno but something was off here..
Either way good episode but hopefully Santi still appears in some episodes...

    Like I said, so heartbreaking

Good episode. I may have liked less than the previous two. I need more viewing to digest.

I was pleased with this episode, but any of my concerns might just be irrelevant an episode or two down the line.
Why hasn't Boba told his new street gang crew to repaint their Vespa speeder bikes? Maybe give them a sort of uniform?
Who had Danny-Trejo-As-A-Rancor-Keeper on their Star Wars Bingo Card? That's just awesome. And next episode, he's going to teach Boba Fett to ride the rancor? I'm totally on board with this line of thinking!
I don't agree that Boba should've kept Black Krrsantan on his payroll, but I'm glad he spared his life so we're bound to see him again in the Favreau-Filoniverse!
Did anyone notice that Boba directed the Gammoreans should be put in the bacta tank? What a class guy, saving his valiant guards.

It reminds me of American Graffiti in terms of style, so I'm not too surprised by it. Lucas would most certainly love it.

The Hutts are likely lying about Tatooine being a useless rock. But I think they are truthful regarding the Mayor's double-crossing. Hutts don't want to get into a war directly. They'll rather watch and see the other syndicates kill each other... then swoop down and claim the spoils for themselves. I think we won't see them again for a while until the Pykes are dealt with. Because trying to lay claim on territories with the Pykes involved is a suicide mission for all purpose and intent. It's like disrespecting Maul's crime organizations. Only Sheev can do that.

And I totally buy the Pykes hired the gang bikers to kill the Tuskens. They never came across as honorable people if they can get away with it.

Well, the Pykes said that the Nikto have already collected protection money. It doesn't mean that they gave them the order to eradicate that Tusken camp, the Nikto might have acted on their own accord, since they were "protecting" the area.

The one question that rises from this episode to me, is what has Boba Fett been doing for 5 years before Din Djarin showed up and claimed his armor. It wouldn't be a crazy idea to show Boba Fett somehow becoming a prisoner for a few years. There is no reason for him to live a nomadic life on his own for 5 years now that we saw that the Tusken camp got completely destroyed. Something else must have been going on in the past.

And to think that people were saying that Fennec Shand was the Tusken warrior. Yeah.... I could have told you she's not.

Huh. I don't know how I feel about that episode. Didn't help that I started out disappointed that it was only a 30 minute episode however I need to get over that, since it seems both the Marvel and Star Wars live action shows have had plenty of short episodes.

The episode felt uneven. Some really cool things like the Black Krrsantan fight and Boba having a rancor. However anything with the Majordomo and punker gang fell flat for me. It certainly is a setup episode but I don't know, it felt like it lacked a little energy.

We had to move away from the Tuskens in the flashbacks however kinda bummed it had to end in slaughter for them. So it seems the warrior Tusken made it out alive but did the kid Tusken survive too?

Sure, but who wants to work for a Daimyo that is going to undercut your profit margin. Boba's position is uncertain - he has competitors for his position. If I am one of the capos trying to decide who to back, I'm not exactly rooting for the guy working to make me less money.

The Street Gang having a uniform pretty much goes against what they stand for I think.
Looks like the leak about Boba riding a Rancor is true indeed..
