Hell yes! This is where we are. I would seriously, unironically prefer 70 years old Mark Hamill playing 30 years old Luke than this. At least I'd be looking at an actual human being.

Highest rating I've given so far. I'm not judging it as a BOBF episode though...just a SW episode.

As I always say, you can't lie to yourself - I've watched this episode 3 times already!

The episode was perfect. Not a single wasted second. Cobb Vanth. Luke and Ahsoka. Grogu training. Order 66 flashback. More Din Djarin. Cad freaking Bane! Absolute perfection.

 

I think the grand plan is a post-ST Jedi Order that includes Ahsoka, Grogu and Rey. Ahsoka’s and Grogu’s absence during the ST will be explained.

I also think Grogu is the next Mandalore.

 

What do you mean by "chose to go onto the Internet". How does one actually avoid the Internet by all costs when it's part of your job? And I'm not talking about actually going into articles to read them; I mean the HEADLINES THEMSELVES TALK ABOUT BANE IN THE EPISODE.

Reminds me of the ridiculous spoilers within the first few days of TFA where there were obvious headlines talking about Han's death.

 

It's a huge leap from the mannequin at the end of Mando 2 and the efforts in R1. There is still Uncanny Valley, but it's got to a level that I'm happy with as long as Luke doesn't make anything more than a cameo in future episodes.

 

Unless her voice being in episode 9 means she is dead like all the other voices. I think it might be Rey, Grogs, Finn and Ezra.

I ended up confirming 4/10, the lowest I've ever gotten.
As expected, this opinion is the second most unpopular I ever had, right after when I said that Frog Lady was the best episode of season 2.

And Finn; as he appeared to be Force Sensitive. Maybe even Ezra.

I definitely feel that this is where they are going and they will be the core Jedi who will face the next big threat that comes along in 10, 11 and 12; with others to be discovered and trained along the way.

Which will be interesting because 3 of them do have a strong bias towards the feelings of attachment. So it would be interesting would the future Jedi doctrine will hold.

 

I am probably in the minority about this...but I think Grogu needs to stay with Luke. But they really needed to have Din, Luke, Ahsoka and Grogu sit down and actually talk about it and come to an agreement about it. I like the little, green dude but he is still a child and without the Force he will be an easy target for bad people to do bad things. So stay with Luke, train in the Force and have Papa Din checking up on him from time to time.

Then down the line he can leave Luke's Academy before the destruction and be out in the Galaxy.

I'm sorry, but news sites do not give a dump about Star Wars.

What you mean is, you lack control and so probably go onto Screenrant or Some other TV related site which clearly would have posted news on the latest episode.

I didn't watch the episode until 8pm tonight instead of 8am.

I was on twitter off and on today... all I saw was Dave Filoni trending.

Soon as I saw that, I logged off and knew it was gonna be a great episode of surprises.

That or he was dead.

So simple.
