apparently DD had a disastrous opening in Britain. I have the feeling that this (outside of the US) practically unknown superhero character will make little internationally.

The Hulk is better known in Europe so it should do better

 

My prediction for DareDeveil's U.S. total:

$115 million.

 

Daredevil is a 15 in the UK, so kids CAN'T go see it. This will be partly why DD has underperformed.

I thought it rocked though

 

Daredevil made $3.1m in it's opening weekend in the UK, on 382 screens.

It's not a disaster, by any stretch actually, but it's not as high as Fox hoped. The Hours also opened here, but made less than $1m.

That's a weekend total of $7,741, -58% from last weekend. Last weekend's screen total was 7 for Fri and Sat, and 2 for Sun, so AOTC:TIE was also shown on 4 fewer screens this weekend. Still, you can tell the run is very nearly over.

*gasp* I was $1 million away from the Daredevil weekend prediction! SWEET! :-D

The Oscar noms really helped boost the box office for some movies, notably Chicago and The Hours.

My AotC IMAX prediction will be $6000. A small drop I hope for it.

 

I hope I'm somewhere in the region with my TTT prediction. I havent changed it like a lot of people, and I made it like 2 weeks before the film even opened. My prediction was the highest for ages until people saw how it was performing.
