SBD: Is that speculation or has that been confirmed somewhere? Its certainly logical, though.

I was actually at least mildly surprised Anakin didn't cut R3 up into pieces after he got out of there.

Spoilers are allowed here, so you don't need to HTR.:p Yeah, I agree with you Subach but Anakin's rush to defeat him cost him R2 so it kind of dampened the victory(since R2 has all their tactics and strategies in his memory...)

Ashoka was more annoying in this episode, I know she was trying to get Anakin to accept the R3 unit, but her 'it's gold, for Gold Leader, get it' was a 'uggh' moment for me. Although I have to admit that her IG-88 slice was nice. And, as I thought, Anakin was suffering from severe separation anxiety(nad not because of the secrets either.)

And Grievous, he lost another ship...but the battle between him and Anakin was good. The 'stupid bots' where what I expected, but at least they toned down the antics a bit(I like the commander saying he was in charge when Grievous suddenly left the bridge:p ) And yes, he whacks another droid...and coughs.:D

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing the conclusion of this arc, the preview looks good and makes me wonder how much information the Seps will glean from R2.[face_worried]

Edit: A spy eh? Cool, although if I was Anakin, I would have sliced him...in front of Ashoka.:p

I think the fact that he didn't destroy R3 just supports the thought.

    Yep.

I have to say, I actually thought Ahsoka was less annoying this time.

I wonder if Ahsoka is getting tired of being called Sir by the clones?

That is what I was thinking. :p

I don't think it even registers in her mind, she is still used to being called sir since the operation. [face_whistling]

Yeah, those assassin droids were definitely a highlight of the episode in my opinion. And I gotta agree with you on the music. It was really weird....

Wow. Quite possibly the worst episode in the series so far, IMO. From Gha Nachkt's flatulence to the cheesy and out-of-place music, this episode just fell short of expectations. The ending also felt way too rushed and sudden. It wasn't a suspenseful ending, just an ending that felt like the makers had crammed as much into the episode as possible, and that they felt the world would explode if the show ran over a mere few seconds more. And I'm still trying to figure out whether or not there are dimes in Star Wars! [face_laugh] Overall, not the show's strongest point, though it gets an extra point or two simply for the presence of Grievous.

The episode wasn't bad. Not as good as the last few, but not bad.

Despite what past continuity might say, I wonder if this is how Palpatine first discovers Anakin's wedding to Padme. R2 was there so it would be in his databanks.

One comment, though, and I understand that they do this for budgetary reasons, but could we see some different ships on in the Seperatist Fleet. In the last episode, you could see some Lucrehulks in Grievous' battlegroup over the Rishi Moon, but you never see them from space. How about some Providence-class (unless they're saving them for later in the war),Recusant-class or heck, at least show us some Lucrehulks in space! Something just to give us a little more variety.

Guys, please be careful not to discuss spoiler info. that might be obtained from sources outside of the current episode for the week. There are many Star Wars fans here that have no idea what's coming next (and like it that way) and know nothing about these new characters, events and so on that have been introduced in the cartoon so far. So if you want to discuss possible spoiler info. from other Star Wars sources (like books) or rumors about future episodes that have not yet aired for everyone to see, then please talk about that stuff in threads other than the threads that are set aside for the discussion of particular episodes. Thank you! :)

Glymphid_Warlord: I very much agree about the odorous alien, why does Lucas keep sticking idiotic tasteless stuff like that in the Star Wars prequels and now in the cartoons??

If it is 22 BBY, why are the Republic using Star Destroyers? Shouldn't Acclamators still be the backbone?

Not the greatest episode, but we we got some good combat in space and with sabers. I am not entirely sure why the Republic would have the upper hand if they attacked from above, but at least they gave a reason and reminded us space is 3-d.

Also, Obi-Wan is blatantly racist against droids.

An enjoyable episode, if not as good as most of them have been thus far. Hard to be all that good when it's nearly impossible to have any dramatic tension. The plot revolves around rescuing R2. He has to survive and be fine for the next hundred-plus years. It's hard to have doubt about the outcome in the end.

Still, some very cool parts. The attack on the Seps at the beginning was way cool. Anakin's peril was cool, as was the sabotage via R3. I enjoyed the Jabba's door on the junk ship, too.

This episode had some good parts, but overall I thought it was pretty so-so... especially compared to the better episodes we've already had. I loved the part when R2 ejects the IG droid into space. As others have said, it is odd how the clones (especially Rex) keep calling Ahsoka "sir". And as others have also already said, the music in this episode... was horrible.

Decent episode, many have been better, but a few were worse I think. I agree with others that the music was really non-sw like this episode, not sure what they were going for.

For anyone who has played Resistance on ps3, the ig-88 droids reminded me of the snipers in the game who jump back and forth along the walls taking shots at you.

Is there anything that definitely calls the assassin droids in this episode by the designation IG-88? By prior continuity, at least, the IG-88 model would have been later. That said, the IG line would easily be old enough for this. So are they definitely IG-88, or just another IG?

I liked this ep, but that awful matrix mixed with techno sounding music was TERRIBLE! Nothing takes you out of the feel of the Star Wars universe quite like crapy techno music with drum machines! (man i hate the music of today, i long for the energy of 80s rock or early 90s gloom lol) Other then that it was good and I'm looking forward to the next ep. I do think after Anikin hearing R2 sounds he shouldn't have just taken the word of Ashoka of R2 not being there because of the ships manifest. Maybe Ashoka will turn out to be a spy for the sepratists??? Highly unlikly, but one never knows!

I saw the episode, and there were two things that conflicted with the episode guide. First, instead of "Friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, impossible to forget", it had something about trust. I wonder if the producers got the two mixed up. Second, according to the episode guide, there was supposed to be scene in the hangar bay where R2 got razzed by a Treadwell. But that didn't happen.

In addition, there's nothing the Wookiepedia article that said Bothawui had a ring system. That might be retconned at a later date, but AFAIK, in those novels where Bothawui was mentioned was there no mention of a ring system.
