Me neither!:D Although I have to admit, begrudingly and kicking and screaming, that Ahoska wasn't that bad last episode although it will be a release not to have to see her in this one.;)

And oh gods, Geonosian undead drone zombies? I'm so there![face_dancing] And a queen(yes, I must resist the urge to post at least one Alien(s) reference or quote:p ).

Aw man, I was actually looking forward to seeing Ahsoka and Barriss' relationship develop further in this episode. I thought there would be an ongoing thing with them two throughout the season.

Ah well...there's still one more Genosis episode after this one, isn't there?

Animation seems to be getting better by episode, and it's nice to have a break from Ahsoka, but I'm a bit iffy on the plot. First zombies, now rise of the mummies? What is the Galaxy coming to? :p

This episode looks great, I agree that they should have aired it halloween.

Did you know Dee Bradley Baker is doing the voice of the Geonosian queen? He is so good at creature sounds.

I'd rather they focus on the zombie aspects of the B1 droids than try to use actual zombies. The "not living yet still going" quality to droids isn't exploited anywhere near as often as it should be, even in the EU. I think the feral droids in Coruscant Nights are the most notable.

They could even make it like 28 Days Later and have a virus affect a bunch of droids.

I don't love the idea of Star Wars zombies either, but will wait to see the actual episode before passing judgement. It's pointless to complain about what you haven't seen.

Nobody's complaining, but it's normal to discuss one's wariness of the whole subject.

Luminara sounds different than she did in 'Cloak of Darkness". What happened?

Don't forget Sith Zombies (or they will kill you with force lightning. Seriously.)
Or The zombies made by that one vampire chick in that comic.
Or the ones from Galaxy of Fear.....

Actually Star Wars loves itself some zombies. And why not, it has ghosts after all.

Anyway, my guess is that this Queen, judging by the ruined temple, as the leader a long time ago...and a darksider. Someone who delved into Sith Alchemy to keep herself alive and revive her subjects. And at some point she was defeated and sealed into the catacombs.

Luminara does get captured as seen in one of the season 2 trailers. They can't just have Luminara trussed up and not do anything. Wouldn't they torture her for some reason?

Star Wars has always had a life after death theme to it. In the films of course we have the Force Ghosts coming from the beyond. In the EU, well you name it, skys the limit really.

I'd prefer these zombies to have some relation to the dark side of the Force myself as the dark side is a "pathway to many things some would find unnatural"....at least thats close to Palaptine's quote in ROTS.

Yeah, if it was some sort of Sith manipulation, I'd be fine with it. As Palpatine said: "To cheat death is a power only one has achieved", so I don't want to see some geonosian hive manage such a feat so easily.

I think there are two ways this could work with the thematic assumptions of the Star Wars Universe:

    1) Some sort of Dark Side power.

    2) Some sort of "sciencey" explanation like nano bots, brain parasites, alien disease, etc.

For this episode, the title is "Legacy of Terror" but could also be known as "Luminara in Distress".

Yeah, these are the two ways in which it could work. The more mystic/religious kind of zombie just wouldn't feel right.

Oh dear gods no! And honestly, I thought it would be a pic of Jar Jar in the Senate Chamber.:p

I'm looking forward to this and I'm sure there's some Sithly explanation for Geonosian zombies and their immortal(?) queen...I hope they have some appropriately creepy music to go along with the scenes.

.... Am I the only one who's really sick of zombies in general at this point?

I mean don't get me wrong, I'm sure they'll make sense in the context of this episode and all, but zombies are just so overdone in the whole of entertainment media by now. =/ But ah well, I'm sure it'll be a good episode regardless, even if I'm completely bored with Geonosis by now.

I'll only get really worried if they somehow put vampires and/or werewolves into the show. :p

Vampires and Warewolves will show up in the episode where they visit the Mos Eisley cantina.;)
