If you watched Senate Murders, I wouldn't bother watching this episode. It's too predictable, and we will see Padme most likely endangered again. Farr's retconned fate in Senate Murders takes away tension, as well as Bail being involved with this speeder bike chase. Honestly, why even send bounty hunters to stop them? We know the outcome. Honestly, I think I'm only watching this one for Halle Burtoni.

Replace that name with the words chase scene, and you've summed up my reason in a nutshell.

    Bounty hunters chase them
    Padme, Bail, and Farr survive.

If you want to watch that, go ahead, but it will be like watching nothing since you know the outcome.

I am interested in seeing what they do with Robonino. Surprised no one has mentioned that. We haven't seen him in a while and I never would have expected them to bring him back.

Have you watched the preview clip on SW.com? This looks like it's in the running for Worst.Episode.Ever.

All, the new Padme model looks terrible.

Heroes on Both Sides looked pretty bad too, and the reaction to the preview wasn't too good, and look how that turned out! I'm always surprised how quick everyone is to badmouth these episodes. We haven't even seen it yet :p Yes, it isn't what anyone here has been waiting for but you never know what may come from it. There hasn't been an episode yet without at least one interesting tidbit.

I especially like the physics defying Selkath. The rope goes slack every other second and yet he doesn't drop.

The difference comes from what the previews provided us with. We didn't see much of Heroes on Both Sides in its preview. Just a few glimpses without giving away the story.

This preview is basically showing us a significant portion of what will probably be the only action scene in the episode. If that doesn't hold up in a preview, it will turn people off.

I've grown tired of saying why we are ranting about Padme episodes. ;)

    Predicable episode
    Padme cannot die
Why waste time chasing her in the episode, when we know she cannot die.
Why waste time chasing other characters in the episode, when we know they cannot die.
Farr dies in Senate Murders, which takes place after this episode.
The bounty hunters will end up failing
How many times does Padme's life have to be endangered?

The senate scene might be interesting, but they're discussing things that we know that won't happen. Find peace, end the war sooner? Just stop. :p They can make it interesting and not beat us over the head with Padme's "I want peace."

Wow. With the attitudes you guys have I'm surprised you even bothered to watch Episode III. I mean, you knew Anakin was gonna go all Sith and help wipe out the Jedi.

I look forward to this episode as I do any episode. Cause I like Star Wars.

Yeah, but now we're getting a prequel episode to a prequel episode, so it's getting a little jarring.

Only a little?o_O Besides at least it'll help clear up any confusion we had with Senate Murders, which I see as a plus. [face_peace]

Agreed with this looking like the worst episode in the series yet. We already know the outcome. -___-

Good for continuity, but even Senate Murders was a hard to watch episode. :p

I agree there might not be anything interesting or suspenseful about the story, but chase scenes on Coruscant are always cool. Even though it looks like AotC revisited.

I don't like how Padme seems to be having fun doing this.

    Her hairdo is horrible.

Waste some money on designing new characters already instead of Padme version X.X [face_frustrated]

Tangent: For you maybe but I liked it fine, not a favorite of mind by a long shot but still an enjoyable change of pace and I think plenty watchable in it's own right. True a murder mystery isn't what I think when I think star wars but there's just something I felt that was refreshing about it appearing in the show when it did. No wether or not it was a good mystery is debatable and something beyond me since I'm not much of a reader of them in the first place.

I'd have liked a Zombie Apocalypse instead. But that doesn't sound like Star Wars! Unless of course you've read Death Troopers.

Most fans I know were very much looking forward to seeing how Palptine conquered the galaxy, exterminated the Jedi and raised his Empire.

Thats a lot different than seeing repetitive episodes on the same subject. Your analogy would be more accurate if say Lucas showed us ROTS in 1999, TPM in 2002 and AOTC in 2005. Thats what TCW is doing.

The Prequel Trilogy, though set before the Original Trilogy, was one continuous story within itself. TCW is not.

But at least we finally got a sequel to the end of Season 1, thats something. I'll get excited again when we get a sequel to that.

But I admit it will be interesting to see the new character models getting used in Episodes that pre-date Christophisis - that will make sense:p

The only confusion I had is why they decided to create Senate Murders in the first place. SNAP! [face_laugh]

It was more or less a joke. We should just be thankful that we have a good SW show. So season 3 has a bunch of senate episodes and filler episodes. If you watch them in chronological order they help the pacing out a lot.
