Interesting analysis CT, thanks for that.

When I first saw Water War and Gungan Attack I was feeling 8ish about them, the more I watched them the more I felt disappointed by them as season premiers, and I wound giving them both 6.5. Now I'm feeling like it's not really fair to downgrade them just for being first in the season, so I think I'm at a pretty solid 7 with them at this point.

Prisoners will probably get an 8 or 9 from me, but I still have only watched it once so I can't really tell. I'm about to watch the whole trilogy now.

I definitely wouldn't give any of these a 10 though, not even if I were letting my id vote independently of my ego and super-ego.

I'll probably just hit the middle of that and say 8.

BTW, Ahsoka always tends to be a bit touchy. Padme, Chuchi, Anakin, Obi-wan, the Lemur things, the other Padawans from the end of season 3. The kids at the beginning in "Grievous Intrigue". Lol my favorite part in "Mystery of 1,000 Moons" is when she goes to playfully punch Rex and he steps back like -- "Don't touch my biatch." -- When they are talking about being infected about the virus but atleast they can stop it.

I am literally lost for words right now. This is the first episode that was so kriffing stupid that I'm too enraged and dumbstruck to type anything.

For now, this gif will have to do while I calm down and collect my thoughts.

EDIT: Based on the fact that Shadow Warrior's preview looks like it might be half-decent, I'll revert back to my usual tactic of using the ol' Amnesia Ray and forgetting Prisoners ever happened. Once I've written my rant of course.

That episode wasn't so bad. Yeah, brutal ending for shark man.. I'm actually kinda glad they didn't kill off the Prince. This episode was really more about him than anyone else, and even though it made for a predictable story, I think he deserved to live and win in the end. Ahsoka was OK. Jar Jar's spit-glue thing was funny, but it served a purpose too.

The ending had me thinking that we'll see Lee Char again.. and maybe he won't live through the war, like King Katuunko.

Wow that Sharkman was SUCH a bond villain. Did the writers watch several james bond movies to get ideas?

I really did dislike the torture of Fisto, Anakin, and the helmet scene with Padme. Because we all know there is no threat to there lives since they were in Episode 3. It s a waste of time which could have been used elsewhere. That is the problem with TCW, no matter what horrible situation the movie characters get in, you just know they will always be all right, destroying any fear or tension that they might die.

That helmet scene would have worked better for Ahsoka, because she isn't a movie character. Although im sure she wouldn't die in this episode even if she was the one who got a crack in her helmet, it would still make a better chance, because there is still a slim chance she could die, unlike the ZERO chance that Padme would die.

The prince annoyed me (ugh that voice), he deserves to have a moon dropped on him, except in a non-heroic fashion.

I think the Prince should have died in this episode. I don't mind the good guys winning, however i think there should be SACRIFICES. This is WAR, And in War sometimes you still lose a lot, even though the enemy has been defeated.

But Noooooooo, the writers don't have the guts to kill the prince.

    Fanboy: Lol

Togruta: Don't give them any ideas, or else it'll turn into the next pointless cameo, similar to the reappearances of those "bounty hunters" from "Bounty Hunters" in Wookiee Hunt, if you can see what I mean.

StarWarsFan91: I agree with most of your points, especially:

I was thinking the same thing, it's unfortunate he was so reduced.

I agree, the torture scenes just didn't do it for me. Not only were they in no real danger, but why would Anakin know where Lee-Char was? It seemed obvious from any perspective that he wouldn't.

Good point. The mere possibility, however remote, adds tension. Also, watching Ahsoka choke down a lungful of water would have been delightful.

Seerow called this spot on, that ending was as happily ever after as it gets.

The scene actually stopped and Lee-Char all but winked at us.

Do I need to mention that throwing things underwater doesn't really work that well?

    I'd rather this guy:
    [image=http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110917061224/starwars/images/thumb/0/07/RiffTamson-SWE.png/333px-RiffTamson-SWE.png]
but he had to play Bond villain and turned into a massive retard. I mean, did he really think bringing every single prisoner and Nossor Ri, who was so blatantly waiting to backstab him since Water War, to the public execution of Lee Char would be a good idea? He deserved to get blown up.

The best part was he even said in the episode (or Dooku said, I forget which) that the Prince would be a symbol for the Mon Cala to rally behind. Even without Nossor Ri's *unexpected* intervention, surely the Mon Cala, Gungans and Clones would rebel and try and save him anyway? It does my head in.

Riff Tamson was awesome, we can only hope an episode takes place on his home planet to see a world populated with sharkmen.

Maybe his father is the ruler of the planet, and wants revenge for his son's death.

Make his father the size of a megalodon.

    Hi

I joined this discussion to express my anger at this episode. I've been watching TCW from the beginning and liked many episodes until I got bored and frustrated. Two things. First of all, CIS almost always losing. Second of all, bad CIS image. The main problem is that the writers of this show have to incorporate a clear polarity betweem two fighting fractions. So the Republic is good as an angel and CIS is evil as a devil. No shades of gray. Please tell me, how on the Earth could Count Dooku win support for CIS galaxywide if his only policy is to enslave a population of a planet. Ok, I can understand he ordered to enslave Mon Calamari, cause they supported the Republic. But making Quarrens slaves as well? Treating your allies like dumb and dirty rag is a really bad idea. The old adage says: the slave is not an employee. He should have make Nossor Ri the new ruler of Dac and possibly place Riff Tamson in charge od droid forces to protect a new goverment in case of Republic attack. In return he could have demand their participate in Seperatist cause like mining supplies. In conclusion, without support of local population you can't dream about winning at all!!! By the way Tamson should be a ruler on his homeworld - I don't think he is some kind of outlaw if he could import those medusas from his planet at demand.

He goes to Dac and fights Nossor Ri's slumbering father, who is the size of giant squids of legend.

Call it Megalodon vs Giant Squid.

    Deal.

Just take out Nossor Ri's dad altogether and just have the Kraken be a legend on Tamson's world that turns out to be true.

I wonder if they named Riff Tamson after Biff Tannen from BTTF?

    The names sound alot alike.
