Yeah, I was about to say nice Photoshopping, Gry.

 

Both of Grys covers look way more pleasing to the eye than the Yoda one, its no the character that?s the problem, it?s the scale and placing.

 

Thanks, I'd forgot to add the shadow behind the characters, but that's fixed now.

 

I'm looking forward to this part:

3-D character and object turnarounds and early animation.

I don't have blue ray, but this might make me want to get it, as this could be very useful for costuming references. Or I just wait for people to get lots of screencaps of them for costuming references.

Hey Gry, I'd appreciate it if you'd make a Ponds cover. Y'know, to continue with a clones theme.

 

I actually like the Yoda pose, but then I'm a bit of an unabashed Yoda fan myself.

My main problems with the cover are the silver wood effect (Three words that should never be uttered together) and the red Clone Wars logo, something that I never liked ever since it popped up to advertise how dark Hostage Crisis was going to be.

I just hope we Brits get that lovely storybook box this year, I was quite miffed that we only got a standard DVD case and a seperate art booklet for S1.

Y'know, I think it wouldn't be too big a stretch to imagine people printing those images you made and pasting them on DVD covers. XD

 

Well, you couldn't print those pictures. They are very low-resolution, and are a tridimensional representation of the package. You'd need a flattened image for that.......

Just to say that's not Ponds. It's Fox. I really hope to see him more on the series. Still, great cover Gry.

 

Oh, bloody hell. And I pride myself so in knowing my clones... Well, I guess I couldn't find a good Ponds picture then...

 

I like the Ventress one most, but she probably wouldn't find her way on a cover because of the whole 'boys demographic' thing. How about trying a Mandalorian cover? I think that would be a good choice for season 2.

Like really? Still NO audio commentaries????? WTH?

 

Captain REX should of been on the cover.....and there better be those 5 minute features that talk about each episode,those are extremely effective.

 

He already was on one of the DVD movie covers.

 

Yeah sorry.A different Clone should be on the cover of each full season.Cody was season 1,Rex should be on S2,then different Clones for Seasons 3-5.

 

Not Rex; he's like the poster boy of the TCW clone troopers, and he's been on a cover already. I would prefer Ponds or some notable clone that appeared in season two.

A pity that they didn't decide to go with my suggestions for the cover... Anyway, strange that we are seeing the italian booklet. For those who care, it reads "The good, the ugly, the beauty" under the pictures of Anakin (wearing a poncho it seems), Cad Bane and Ahsoka. So Miss Tano is now being advertised as "The Beauty". GG, eyeroll please.

I actually saw the look of the DVDs, and I described it as the Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka show. I've also said in my reviews that I really hate that aspect of the show, since it's been overly done.

Poor decisions on the DVD set too.

 

So, it only arrives in Europe on November 15. I really don't have a problem with the "beauty" thing.
