Yeah, all right, so one group flies around forever and the other one sits on Pride Rock forever. Within the very specific confines of this draft, in this instance, with the stipulation that they absolutely must engage, and understanding that they are essentially cut off from what they would typically be able to call upon, Juggernaut eventually wins.

Actually I wasn't so sure about this because Carol can absorb some of that Nova juice. You know what, yeah, I am switching to them. Angela is at least capable of holding her own against Nova, and with Danvers capable of siphoning him a bit, I think that takes it. "But telepathy" says someone from another universe who has seen Aquaman use his telepathy consistently or practically.

I'll give most telepaths the benefit of the doubt here. Maybe not every time, but enough times.

I mean. I once literally got someone to quit the draft because as a judge I had such a low opinion of Aquaman he couldn't take it any more. he might have quit the boards in whole, actually. I'm not saying that's why I'm voting for Angela/Marvel, though. It's because, yeah, Angela is a bit more impressive than Aquaman, and yeah, Carol and Nova are a decent match. Plus, I'm contractually obligated to screw over dp4m at least once per round.

Healed by fire blood. Considering he uses blood magic as well and has 24 hrs prep, probably bad for J'Onn.

THis is Apollo, MM and some other person vs Atrocitus. Go ahead, ask how they do (Hint: Half the fight or more is on the respect thread. Google Atrocitus vs Martian Manhunter for guys who have read it describing it. Stormwatch didn't really want to fight, but also Atro wasn't at full power).

Don't know what MM's prep really brings to the table. Atro has blood magic and a ring (both capable of using fire, creating red flamethrower, whatever), as well as the inventiveness to create magical and certainly fire weapons of very little. Honestly just like in that fight, he doesn't need to use the weakness. He's physically superior and ferocious, able to fight GLs like Sinestro ringless. But it's there. MM is pretty much limited to a physical fight, which he can't win. Shame. Good powerset but he doesn't get it done.

 

I don't think it's relevant to this battle, but apparently he can merge with technology now. This is Martian Mech-Hunter I guess.

FYI, am leaning Atro at this point. Reviewed MM in the Nu52 and not really seeing the high end needed to take down Atro.

 

I'm not that fussed as I'll still win 6-4, but seriously with Aquaman -- he's TP and Magic now in Nu52. Not just the old Aquaman.

So on this one, I agree with heels. Not sure how Stewart overcomes magic of that level, Talisman is solid with prep and here as GL can't seem to counter her the magic she uses can counter him. I'll give it to her.
