Dear Lord I love that picture.

Is it any surprise that the 360 graphics would be better? PS3 hasn't been released and 360 is in it's second year. Compare any second year game to a launch title, and you see a huge difference. And all of the shots look better then Wii images.

 

All the 360 shots? Of course they are going to look better...It's common knowledge Nintendo isn't trying to blow anyone away this round with graphics.

Nintendo=Evolving Gameplay

360, PS3=Evolving Graphics

 

I don't think it really matters, as I believe FFXI will be the only FF to hit 360 anyway.

 

Try as they might nothing will ever top FFVII for me.

 

Remember that all of the consoles for the 360 crashed,well after that they redid it so it actualy came out early 2006.I dare you to show me an indiana jones screen shot compared to a PS3 screenshot,yeah the 360 won in that,and ouch the 360 won in gameplay.

Wait, all of your beloved 260's crashed? You're not doing your arguments any favors kid. Even if Mircosoft "redid it" (and by that I assume you mean release more systems that fix crashing bugs) they still released it in 2005. The DS Lite just came out a few months ago, does that mean that the DS is a 2006 system?

Childish namecalling aside, are you implying that Sony reads the reviews for 360 games? OMG shocker! How dare they read things that are public knowledge!

1st off, the term "next-gen" has nothing to do with what year a system is released in. It has to do with what generation of system it is. Gamecube, PS2, X-Box are all current gen. The next console from any of those companies is "next-gen".

 

It's FFVIII's opening movie for me. I don't think Square is going to ever do better than that in my estimation.

I just realised that if Ratchet and Clank, Sly and Jak and Daxter are still PS3 exclusives I'm going to have to get one.

Insomniac's new game (Resistance) could be interesting too.

 

The Nintendo 64 is a 64-bit machine. It has some of the greatest games of our ages. And dare I say the greatest, Ocarina of Time.

anikan-skywalker, you cannot come in here blindly telling us how the 360 is so amazing that the other companies shouldn't have bothered. The 360 is nothing special, as I said before. Just an X-Box with pretty graphics.

 

I do like those series...And they are continuing them as far as I'm concerned. They said they were going to create new mascots for each system... For PS1 and had Crash and Spyro...For PS2 you had Ratchet and Jak. But I suppose they are going to continue the tradition for now.

FF8's opening movie knocked me to the floor. After FF7 I had some high expectations...that movie right there was worth the price alone. I had to have watched it about 100 times...Ok so I will include FF7-8 as the golden age for square.

I still don't think I'll be able to get into the new FF games.

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about,You should look at the 360 and buy one so you will see that everything is different,the ps3 has a nice graphic system and thats about it,look at the 360's xbox live it can play the phone games against other people in its arcade ,and you can verse people with a pc and other xbox users,from bolth systems!And dont forget about the graphics and gameplay and movies/dvds/pictures/phone/the best digital media you have to offer/better games than the ps3,and graphics and everything!And hot things to cover it with!Oh and you can even make your own things to putin any game,and you get to research anything,so as far as you know I am typeing on my 360!

And jedistarkiller go to a freakin FYE store and they have the sheets out!OMG

I could write up arguments for nearly everything you just wrote, but that would take too much time and you aren't any where near worth it.

I purpose that we leave Mr. Delusional here to his own devices and ignore all futher posts from him.

Though I will say one last thing. anikan-skywalker, I actually have a 360, and let me tell you right now that most of the games I have played on it don't look a whole lot better than the latest screen shots for the PS3 titles.


Edit: I also agree with JediStarKiller2. Ocarnia of Time is probably the best game I have ever played.

 

I agree with Soontir. Seriously, I don't see how you can compare console's to each other when the last 2 of them haven't even been released yet.

Also, I agree with JediStarKiller that Ocarina of Time was seriously, the best Zelda game I've ever played. I loved the N64 for that and Diddy Kong/Mario Kart racing and Super Mario 64 as well.

I can't wait to get the Wii for Super Smash Bros. Brawl and to play all those classic games form the good old' days.

I don't think I'll be getting a 360 considering I don't even have a HDTV and the Wii is perfect for me since I don't have to worry about upgrading my TV. I'll probably get it when the bigger HDTVs are cheaper.

 

Did I say that? I thought I said ALTTP was the best game!? OoT is amazing though and was a successful transition of the Zelda world in 3d. I never got into the first two Zelda's...I was spoiled by the richest that was Link to the Past. I still haven't beat the minish cap though...I should do that.

The only way I'd "get" a PS3 or a 360 is if someone bought them for me for like christmas or my birthday...Who wouldn't take a free next gen system? Heck it was my girlfriend who already bought me my Gamecube and DS. She is good.

 

But I don't want to ignore him! Those posts are just so much fun to read.

anikan-skywalker, if I may make a proposal. Can you try, in calmer language, to explain why the XBOX 360 is so much better than the other consoles? Pay in mind, the PS3 and the Nintendo Wii are not out yet, so comparisons on gameplay can't be made.

Also, remember -

Current Gen:

XBox, PS2, Gamecube (and technically Dreamcast, though it sadly left the party early)

Next Gen:

XBox 360, PS3, Wii.

Hopefully, I'm sure you will make a compelling arguement, then if you could please listen to me then just in case I have any counter-arguements. I will agree with you, the 360 is a fine machine, and I was thinking of picking one up myself once the price went down, but one of the benefits of being true gamers is the ability to play multiple platforms.

So if you could, please list the benefits of the 360. Also, to show your well roundedness, as I am sure you are, are there anything about the 360 you don't like? Something a potential buyer like myself should watch out for?

I don't even think he owns a 360 yet. To tell you the truth the games available for it are nothing to write home about. theres not one title that actually makes me want one...

Like for the Wii...They have Twilight Princess, SMG, MP3:Corruption, SSBB, Red Steel.

Even PS3 has me drooling over MGS4 and RE5...

Nothing much for 360...except maybe VF4.

 

Well I know I'm getting a Wii, but I was trying to see it from his point of view. Rather than ridicule fanboys, I always believed that one should listen to them. You never know when they might be onto something.

 

Dead Rising is the only 360 game that even looks remotly interesting to me.
