Stupid question, but with Disney buying 20th Century Fox, will they put the fanfare back before all the Star Wars films if they wanted to? I know it doesn't make sense to but musically I kind of miss it. Can Disney now remove the fanfare before A New Hope if they want?

I've seen that xenomorphs = Disney princesses thing everywhere. It wasn't really all that funny the first time, not it's just insufferable.

This is a bit off-topic, but I hope this means that the X-men can show up in more stuff now that they're all part of the Disney empire. It was already going to be a big weekend for Disney due to a certain movie, now even more so.

Oh, right, the other nerd takeaway. Forget about the X-Men franchise putting out anything remotely interesting like Legion again or playing loose with continuity or being okay with "R" ratings. Now they can be in the already cluttered MCU and just as boring! They can trade quips with Iron Man and Hulk!

During a recent rewatch of the Disney live action remakes, I noticed something regarding the villains: with the exception of the new Pete's Dragon villain, they either have a darker edge to them then their animated/original counterparts, and/or they're turning more heroic/good characters into villains (like the Grand Duke from Cinderella and King Stefan in Maleficent).
