You have to wait a day or two for it to show up. If it doesn't appear by that time, delete Shivering Isles and re-download it.

Strange, it shouldn't take that long... go to Bravil and then head east across the river. If you don't see a glowing portal on a little island then yeah, delete the plugin and try again.

Well, by "wait a day or two," I obviously mean a game day, not a real life day. :)

I know. Just for me it only took a few minutes of game time.

Shush...I'm looking for an excuse to get it even though technically I don't need the extra copy. :p

Oooo...I was tempted to pick up a copy of Morrowind a couple weeks ago. I might have to grab one now that it's BC on the 360... [face_mischief]

The instant cure for vampirism is in the Vile Lair download.

I heard the normal quest is a little bugged, but anyway, I usually buy or steal grand soul gems from the various Mages Guilds. Try looking in all the display cabinets.

You can always dupe the gems you have.

There's two empty ones and two full ones you can steal at the Chorrol Mages Guild I think. Most Mages Guild fences have grand soul gems for sale. If you're short of cash, just join the Mages Guild, then help yourself to all the Alchemy tools on the shelves, then sell them back to the Mages Guild!

There was a bug in the game that allowed you to duplicate most items excluding armour and weapons.

I didn't do it many times, as it felt like out-right cheating and made the game too easy. But from what I remember, what you do is equip a bow and some arrows (the amount of arrows you equip determines the amount of duplications), then pull back the string of the bow, but before you release, go into the inventory and unequip the arrows, but you'll get a message saying you can't do that while attacking. Then go straight to the item you want to duplicate, say, soul gem, then drop it. Close the inventory screen and you'll see a flood of soul gems appear on the floor.

Unfortunately the bug was removed with the previous updates, so it doesn't work anymore if you updated it. I've heard there's another glitch that allows you to do a similar thing, but I don't know any more.

Post-patch, you need to use scrolls in order to dupe. Just get at least 2 of the same scroll and then select that scroll from your inventory. Then drop the item you wish to dupe.

    *perks up*

Hmmm...I might need to test that out. No need to go crazy with it since I've gotten more used to playing without the glitch, but there are still instances where it can be helpful. [face_mischief]

I find duping is really handy when I'm running low on enchanted arrows or when I don't want to go hunting for another Cure Disease potion.

Weynon Priory has a bit of Garlic (upstairs), as do most houses in Skingrad, try looking in the basements. Just don't get caught!

The vampirism cure wasn't too painful for me ... then again, I'm a digital packrat. What really got my goat was those **** nirnroots. I've never gotten that sucker finished without getting frustrated and cheating.

Enough about the quests that tick us off ... what about the really fun ones? Is there any that you really enjoyed?
